Funny you mention that song. As you know by now I’m sleeping with the enemy (translation: living in DC). So the other day I was on a mission to look for some oils and inscents (sp?). I finally found this spot on Columbia & Georgia Ave not too far from the crib. When I run lil’ errands on the block (no pack holder), I’m always in my old Dunks and my O’s fitted (brim low of course). So as I’m walkin’ from the Jamaican store where I copped my oils and inscents, I had to stop at a corner to let a car go by. One of the ninjas was like “ok, OOOOO’s”, referencing my hat. So I aint know if they was tryin’ to talk slick so I turned to money and said, “yeah, ALL DAY”. The same dude was like [in his awkward DC accent, lol], “yeah mean, how that song go? I’ma go harder than Baltimore, I fucks with that joint.” I was like, “yeah, MullyMan holdin’ it down for us, can’t be mad at that.” Said peace to one another and I kept it movin’.
I think the song is decent, nothin’ more nothin’ less. But from what I hear he’s in constant rotation on MTV so that’s definitely a good look. I met him in the flea market last year or the year before and he was madd cool. We exchanged info but I aint never hit him up because I didn’t have a situation for him (and vice versa) that would’ve benefited either of us.
But yo, real talk… not sayin’ it just cause we on NR, you better than him. Lyrically, he’s a beast. His album was cool, had a few nice joints. But judging from your small body of work you could really be THAT dude here if you focus.
