That list of 13 Must-Have Mixtapes of 2009 would be on point if they took WALE B2TF off.
Just cause it came out in 09′ don’t make it dope. Actually they ould have the cut that list down to 7….but I see what they tryna do.

  13. GorillaJoe aka Chief Ali Says:

^ Can’t say I agree I with Wale not making that cut. But they def. missed out on mentioning the latest Emilo Rojas & Nino Bless mixtapes. I guarantee they’re better than several of those left-coast inspired tapes that they mentioned, and that Cool Kids shit.

This coming from someone who feels as though J Cole can compete with a Lupe Fiasco.

  21. Leon Says:

Damn, i can def relate to this song. Yeah yeah, Emilio can sing!

“i know about BOTH your pages on myspace” hahaha

  22. AA Says:

MTV is even too cool to play wack shit like this

  23. OneBluntWonder Says:

Recession Proof definitely should have been on that list, I was really impressed with it. B2TF was great because it united so many artists but personally J. Cole > Wale (but only by a small margin, I’m a big wale fan too).

I’m just happy that lyricism and hard work are making a comeback.
