Common Featured on a Jonas Brothers Song

Don’t you hate it when these people get whatever they fucking wish for? In March the brosephs told MTV they wanted to collaborate with some hip hop acts, Lonnie Rashid for example:

“There’s a song we wrote recently and we were thinking … it does sound different and kind of strange, and [we’d like to work with] a rapper who has some real meaningful lyrics,” Nick, the self-proclaimed “most hip-hop” Jonas, told MTV News. “[Someone who] has some real depth to what he’s saying — someone like a Common or a Lupe Fiasco or a Mos Def. Someone who takes more of a spoken-word approach. That’d be really cool.”

Kevin said that they definitely appreciate hip-hop, hinting that adding that type of vibe to the album is definitely a possibility. “We have a hip-hop bone in us somewhere,” Joe added.

Ayo. Listen to the song below. Props to BuckMarleyXXX for the track.

ok, all you people need to get a life.
this song is amazing. you guys are just jelous
because you guys can’t make great music like this.
get over the fact that the jonas brothers are more talented and hotter
then you will ever be! and if you would like to respond to this, message me at http://www.myspace.com/brittanyisnuts

    sorry miss jonas,

this song is actually not amazing. what you meant to say is this song is “not as insufferable as we all thought it would be, however still a travesty in it’s own right,” but we knew what you meant.

next, i’m sure many people here could actually make “great” music like this. most likely better. I mean, did you hear that bass line? or the guitar melody? an 8 year old could write better music. and if you were referring to their lyrical prowess…robbing a bank? really?

i’m sure we all agree arguing their level of talent is not necessary, neither is hottness. no question, they win.

thanks, and keep up all the good work you are doing with your life, i’m sure it must be insurmountable considering the level of pretentiousness it must take to boldly tell all these lovely people you know nothing of (besides they’re hatred of poorly executed and envisioned musical projects) to “get a life”

  3. This Music Sucks Says:

I’m trying to figure out if the Jonas Brothers got cooler, or Common just got a whole lot lamer. Either way, this song needs to slit its own wrists.
