Damn, when you have an album that’s been delayed for 5 years that nobody cared about in the first place, you should probably try to think of a new title. That’s just keeping bad energy around you.

^okay, I can tell you wasn’t around when I went on my rampages about pimp & bun back in the day, i’ma fan of the old bun b, when they was making music together, the ‘bun i’m talking bout is the solo album geust feature bun, I got both of his albums, the first one was great when it first came out, but it didn’t age well & it’s not really a album, it’s more like a compilation of all the hot rappers at that time, & the second album was booty butt cheeks, bun is at his best when he is with pimp c & rapping over pimp beats & going with pimp song ideas, bun by himself is wack to me, he’s very limited as a solo artist, w/o pimp there would be no bun

    Pimp C > Bun B

*Turns up one day your here*

For Joe to claim he’s smarter than 90% of rappers out there, his female choices haven’t been the best. He’s like that smart dude (so he claims) that always get with pretty jumpoffs, hoes and sluts and wifes them up.

  81. b-ease Says:

consensus on Deeper than Rap? anyone but D-Block.

    ^^
Just listened to it for the first time in its entirety yesterday on car speakers while burning a L.

Dope, if this was the Source when it still mattered, I’d give it a solid 4 mics, and it mightve cleared 4.5 if the Trina track wasnt on there, and Cigar Music was. Subject matter gets tiring, but Ross stays witty for the most part. And all bullshit aside, it may be the best produced major label rap album since The Documentary.

And I never will. It can’t be sample clearance because its on the Itunes version. How do you leave one of the best songs (if not the best) you’ve ever recorded off of the retail version of your album? That’s mind boggling…

    ————

nah … i kinda stopped listening to Charles Hamilton right after he released that instrumental CD … he’s still a favorite, but enough was enough … and i was co-pilot of the bandwagon …

    >>How about you put your girl on a lawnmower, youtube it & maybe she’ll get on the cover of jet or something since your co-signing the movement then. I’ll kept my girl fully clothed & all cameras off when she works out.

I’m saying, I would never, but I’m not mad at Joey. if you got a girl with a body who’s down to show it off, and you don’t feel any kind of way about it, then why not? word to Tracey Marrow.

  92. Joe 88 Says:

I think some of his guest verses still have good shit in them though, but a lot are about grippin the grain.

^That’s all I was saying, I guess I should’ve put that out there before I said bun was wack, cause I just meant he’s wack w/o pimp c to me. And his features was good at first, but they started to sound the same, you can predict what his verse is gonna be about & how he’s gonna spit it, but bun with pimp is like listening to a whole nother person.

    R.I.P Pimp C

  93. G7 Says:

4/5 or 8/10 if u prefer sounds just about right. the lyrical content gets kinda redundant, but the instrumentals, most of them are pretty ill!! there’s two or three out of fourteen i’d skip over on the regular.

  94. Joe 88 Says:

    >I’m saying, I would never, but I’m not mad at Joey. if you got a girl with a body who’s down to show it off, and you don’t feel any kind of way about it, then why not? word to Tracey Marrow.

^I can dig it, but like boosie said for a person who claims to be so smart that has to be one of the dumbest things he could’ve did relationship wise, of course she’s gonna cake off it, but there relationship could crumble if she becomes a bigger star then him (which isnt that hard to do), not that I really give a fuck, just saying. Him letting her do that is like working at the same job as your girl, it wont work.
