Video: Fabolous Talks Twitter’s Influence On “Throw It In The Bag”

Fellow NMC member LowKey talked to Fab about Twitter’s influence on the leak of the record (wonder if he knew it was Low who did it lol) over at his dayjob at BET.

Don’t forget to follow his BET blog too.. and of course you already know UHTN.

When it [Throw It In The Bag ft. The-Dream] leaked I was reading people Twitters, myspace, just online period. Everybody’s response was really good, even though the record was unfinished, a reference kinda…

We had a meeting and we were deciding to go with two records now and then “Throw It In The Bag” later on in the summer. So I brought up that suggestion on twitter, “What do you think of that?”. And everybody was like “Nooo Throw It In The Bag has to come now; it’s a summer record, it has to come now.”

And I thought the people/fans, they have a say in what you should as well. So I brought it up to the people in the meeting, told them that the people were going crazy over releasing it later. So we ended up working it out that we’re gonna release “Throw It In The Bag” and another joint “My Time ft. Jeremih”

It’s funny that you can use Twitter as an actual poll to see what people’s thoughts are.

    ^ John Madden’s “BOOM!” > Suart Scott’s “boom-shaka-laka!”

I used to think Stu was that dude as a youngan. Now he just reminds me of the uncle at the cookout still “raising the roof”.

There’s another black dude on espn who’s worse…I don’t know his name. But he seems maaad preppy but he’s always trying to drop hip-hop lingo and it’s so forced it makes me uncomfortable

I know exactly who you speak of.. dude was paired with Stuart Scott and it was like Carlton and the Fresh prince doing play -by -play

Stephen A. Smith was just not professional enough…

Someone who could not handle interviews or sports debates with civility, always going into those trances of ghetto-like behavior…

ESPN got rid of someone “controversial” and that’s being polite

because the honest truth, Stephan A. Smith was a loud babblin’ bafoon…

Look what happened with Michael Irvin

    espn’s overage teams

    NFL > MLB ( close 2nd ) > NBA

they probably think wit Mashburn Jalen Rose and Wilbon they got enough black people to cover the NBA but nobody comes right out and says what needs to say like Stephen A. and while he is primarily a basketball guy he knows his baseball and football as well, like Land said

    their loss
