Video: Rapper Big Pooh – The Release (Preview)

I went to check out Pooh in his laboratory & he let me hear alot of dope music he is working on and has plans to release soon. Today his special iTunes only version of “Delightful Bars” was released (referred to as the Candy Apple version) & here was a record i was feeling the most from the EP! Stick around for the North American release (aka North American Pie version) which is due to his shelves on April 21st. Thanks Pooh! 8)

ok, tribe, so you just saying as a lyricist he’s nicer…

    When did Tribe say that?

    ^^

    ….Currensy is nicer (c) ATCQ

try to read more carefully amp. i agree with you, i think Drake is better. Currency is ARGUABLY a purer lyricist, but not a better MC in my opinion

–Yea what anon said, Currensy has bars for days and has presence on the songs that he gets on. Drake to me just sounds like a better version of wayne. (not knocking him for that cause hes probably waynes gw)

  4. A tribe called quest Says:

Drake is the best new artist out period imo. More and more people are starting to realize it. His first album will probably do very well and he will get “best new artist” award.

–Like i said im still not sold on drake being ahead of the pack just yet, there are still more artist who are better (i.e CH) and CuDi is the most marketable seeing as how Kanye is america’s favorite black guy and has a new show on hbo.

  5. JDS Says:

i gotta unplug from the matrix and walk in the real world more often, ’cause y’all niggas be having me drinking the Kool-Aid [no]

i listened to that So Far So Gone a few weeks ago and was not impressed at all. i truly and honestly don’t understand the hype behind some of these dudes the internets be buzzin’ about.

    ^^

or does wayne sound like drake?

I dunno…its def a prob that they sound so similar…Drake is more talented that Wayne and will out grow him soon enough

    >>there are still more artist who are better (i.e CH) and CuDi is the most marketable seeing as how Kanye is america’s favorite black guy and has a new show on hbo.

There’s no fuckin way Charles Hamilton is better than Drake…it aint just about lyrics, Drake is clearly a far superior artist than CH and Cudi……don’t even get me started on fuckin Cudi.

Kanye will be a better promoter and cosigner for Cudi than Wayne will be for Drake, but at the end of the day Drake is far and away the best new artist. amp was right about that

I didn’t see Tribe say anything about lyricism until after the fact. You inferred that but that’s not what Tribe said initially. True?

I love how you tried to flip it like I’m not reading what’s being written.Tribe never said anything about lyrics. He just said Spitta is nicer. You’re the one who narrowed it down to lyricism. Stop trying to be slick all the time, b. The greasy talk isn’t required all the time.

Curren$y’s rhyme style is based on flow, not lyricism. Drake on the other hand, is a lyricist. Bar for bar, Spitta ain’t saying the kinda shit Drake is.

It seems like Tribe’s opinion of Drake factors in his affiliation with Wayne.

    –Yea what anon said,

    >>> the defense rests ur honor

  11. AmpGeez a.k.a. Mr. Solo Dolo Says:

Again, I didn’t see Tribe say anything about lyricism.

He clarified it after I questioned it.

“then u should be more accute”

Again, with the sarcasm, like you were in the right. Lucky for you, that’s what Tribe actually meant.

    And the word is “astute”.

–CH is better in all aspects.

    Lyrically its not even close

Marketing wise, although im not a publicist, I dont think the ‘chirren’ are going to pick up on the sonic infatuation and the emotional/self hate rap.

CH is the most creative cat in the game right now, he has a years worth of mixtapes to prove it.

    Official!

Pooh is sooooo underrated on the underground scene. I’m glad he got off that 1st label he was on because they dropped the ball on all that HOJ releases a few years back.
