Video: Diamond D – Bad/Good

Mr. Cee just played “Best Kept Secret” today on Old School at Noon too.

The video for “Bad/Good” takes it back to that golden age feel. With no bling, no cars, and no video girls, Diamond reminds us what it was like growing up in the hood. The simple aesthetic of the video, paired with endearing portraits of kids from around the Bronx evokes a feeling not often remembered in today’s hip-hop culture.

Off The Huge Hefner Chronicles, out now.

old people hate the word “relevant”.

i once asked if jean grae was relevent anymore?? Because i sidekicked about 30 friends and none of em knew who she was..

eskay threw one of the biggest fits at me ever..

i was just asking because she was charging $100 for guest verses..and im not sayin relevant as in “unimportant” but as in media exposure, that type of shit

es.. diamond D remind me of Leethal from Yonkers.. Incredible with the beats, semi-nice with the flow.. plus they resemble each other slightly.

  16. HowfreshEats Says:

This record is crazy. The best joint of Hugh Hefner LP. This video reminds me of Mass Appeal a bit. Looks like Diamond lost some weight while he’s been on hiatus. No pun intended.

And that Redman line takes the cake.
