look when I listen to a certain artist I know what I am getting into and I can still find each to be dope in their lane.

Like I can listen to all these and think they dope in one way or another

    Gucci Mane
    Uncle Murda
    PacDiv
    KiD CuDi
    Young Dro etc etc

But I need Misogyny in rap again …..no more TOO SHORTS….. I want a rapper to go hard on Hoes again. I cant even remember how dope it was to hear Too Short *sings/raps nonstop about sex and bitches*

Theres another girl, her name is mary
Talked about sex and the girl acted scary
I heard she was freakin for my homeboy jerry
Took her to the house and I popped that cherry
    Young and tender, sweet denise
Get her in the bed and the girls a beast

negator this isnt good, he dumbed it down way too much

dumbing down does double ur dollars linearly, but only until a certain point. then earning potential remains constant and eventually decreases.

    >>You GTFOH. More than likely it was some wack ass song that got played on the radio over and over again and I ALLOWED myself to get used to it. You can HATE broccoli and eat that shit every other day until eventually you get used to it

^thats the biggest pile of bullshit Billz has ever typed on this site. I understand what you’re sayin, and it’s true that some songs get beat into your head, but how you gonna sit there and act like there was never a song that grew on you? come on b.

^Your rebuttal is even more asinine. If that’s the case, what’s the required amount of listens must a person endure to eventually get around to “liking” it? That doesn’t sound bass ackwards to you? Many songs have grew on me but it was only because a.) I had to keep hearing them over and over again, because b.) I didn’t have any other options.

Now I have a truckload of options and if something is wack I don’t have to keep playing it like a lunatic. That doesn’t make any sense. I’ve listened to/heard some Jay tracks in the last few months at least 3 times.

So how many more times do you suggest I listened to them before I like them? Perhaps avoid new postings by other artists so that I can give Camel all of my undivided so that I can finally get around to hopefully enjoying it. Yeah, that’ll do it.

A 93-year-old Michigan man died after an electricity limiter placed by the utility company on his line due to his overdue bill malfunctioned, depriving the house of enough electricity to run the furnace.

Marvin Schur owed about $1,000 on his electrical bill. The line limiter placed by Bay City Electric Light & Power blows a fuse if more than a certain amount of electricity is drawn into the house. It then requires a reset. It’s unknown whether the city worker actually talked to Schur or told him how to reset it. “This (limiter) is supposed to regulate the amount of electricity he was using, but still allow enough power to run the furnace. Obviously, it didn’t work,” said a neighbor.

In some states, it’s illegal to shut the power off in winter, a law that was probably enacted to keep billing departments from killing citizens.

best thing for lupe’s career is for camel bullwinkle (nahright.com/2009/01/20/audio-jay-z-diddy-are-angies-correspondents/) to keep releasing records that are flat, because jay is focking his legacy with every record and leaving more and more of a void to be filled by a truly supreme MC whose word-play/verb-play/bird-play is clearly superior. i used to think jay was the undisputed GOAT but anyone who still thinks that needs to get the camel nuts off their face. OH U MAD?? sorry to had to end the debate b4 someone else did.

i refuse to force/trick myself into liking something. and that goes for legends and bum ass rappers alike.

i’m an architecture student so i’ll put it differently…

i’m sure some of you have heard of Frank Gehry, the architect. this guy has been revered for some of his designs, some of which are actually kind of well done. but its gotten to the point where his name/brand has surpassed his work as a measurement of quality. its trendy now to have a Gehry building, when in all actuality he’s just rehashing his “signature style” in far less innovative ways than he had previously. in all actuality, as cities push to become more environmentally aware, or “green”, his buildings are considered wasteful; and it doesnt help that all he does is phone-in his designs [he crumples a piece of paper to his liking and leaves it to his design team to figure out the logistics and structure while he’s off on vacation in Florida somewhere]

i say all of that to really say this…

you cant let someones reputation or clout overshadow the quality of their work. because the minute that compromise is made, you’re sacrificing the integrity of ones art.
