    LMAO

every Newyorker (or random northerner) remembers exactly where they were, and what they were doing when they first heard/saw “Ha?”

that song was like September 11, 2001 for the genre of hiphop …

^That’s probably the realest shit you ever wrote because I was gonna use “Ha” as my reference to the game changing.

I was sittin’ in my house watching videos (the Box, I believe). My young boy from Cherry Hill calls me up. I can’t remember the exact conversation, but I remember he kept askin’ me, “yo, you don’t like this. yo this song fresh.” And I kept giving him the “WTF is you talkin’ about, this shit is trash… da fuck is HA?”, type responses. That convo lasted for at least a good half hour.

After we hung up, the game aint been the same since.

    True story.

^You have a point, somewhat. But then that would be discriminating against all of my Southern sistren and brethren who don’t rap and talk like that on normal basis. But Northerners have always been condescending to the South. Sometimes rightfully so, other times with impaired judgment.

And that’s exactly why I’ve been saying for years that the south’s dominance is Jay’s fault. He forsaked traditional East Coast beats on most of Vol 2 and 3 (still love both albums) and let those bammas get Hot 97 love. Which only cemented their Rap City love.

Either that, or he was long sighted enough to see that it was inevitable and decided to hop on the train early.
