Yo, I just saw that shit on huffingtonpost and literally fell out of my fucking chair. That article is hilarious. I would post quotes, but they’re way too gay.

Lets keep it real. Gays have been influencing the fashion community since the first needle was put to the thread. Kanye aint saying nothing we didn’t already know.

LV, Gucci, Hermes, Versace, Moschino, Prada, Carolina Hererra, etc. Show me a person who rocks any of that and I’ll show you the fashion industry that is run by predominately homosexual men.

    *dapz NAHgerians*

  9. spotrusherz Says:

yeah seriously, what donald billz said… also, it’s 2008 – are you gonna be the dudes that voted against obama in november because he’s black when we have our first openly gay candidate in a few years? i couldn’t rock with an artist rapping or singing about having sex with another man but other than that, talent is talent so deal with it.

KANYE AINT GAY THEN AGAIN WHO GIVES A FUCK!!!! EVEN IF HE IS A MUDHOLE STOMPER, BACKSTREET BOY, ASS EXPERT ETC ETC. DOESNT EFFECT ME ANY – LOL.

Hell if u so concerned with his sexuality then your probably gay yourself. I don’t know many niggas if any that gon sit around wondering if the next nigga is gay to me that is gay itself.

Now this is something you should be thinking dam i wonder if she sucks how about even swallow but if she sucks me off she probably suck the whole hood off dam!! lol

    sup Nah,

Saigon should of gave Atlantic what they wanted… The way LL cool Jay gave Gap what they wanted in that commercial, where he dropped Fubu on the low. Hip Hop execs know numbers but not culture. So had he obliged to their request to spit gangsta raps and masked all kinda jewels in them, he could of got that off. He needs to be more creative and not so blunt, or create his own label and drop on Koch. Its a fine line to tread when you care about your people and you want to be a successful rapper. How do you uphold your integrity and move units?

Saigon’s argument makes sense, until you remember that Lupe is now a successful mainstream rapper on Atlantic that has maintained his intergrity. He could be the exception to the rule, or it could be that Saigon has more blame in his situation that he thinks.

I mean, I appreciated the message, but “Pain in my Life” were not great songs and “Come On Baby” were not great songs. They werent wack, but defintely not something that’s going to set you apart like “Kick, Push” or “Daydreaming”. Like cold said, Sai needs to get a little more creative (or just remember the mindstate he had when he made joints like “Letter P” or “Color Purple”.)

This doesn’t mean shit, for the simple reason its all about who you ask, obviously the person who wrote that supports Israel, but really who knows?? I know you are doing exactly what the media wants you to do, talk about a feud that has been going on long before the united states gave a fuck, before it was the Arabs against the Jews, now its the Israelis against the Palestinians….Why wasn’t this a big deal last year? or 2 years ago? why everybody likes to give a fuck at the same time?

^ Right, but lets look a lil deeper (pauz). Sai’s Image is that off and ex-felon, turned concious rapper. His persona will do much more to uplift and reach a younger generation, than lets say Lupe. One the other hand Lupe’s package was a skater who spit concious bars, the implications are way different.

well it is a big deal right now because there’s been over 900 victims on the palestinian side since the war started last month.
but i hear you, there’s thousands of people dying in africa, asia and latin america and nobody seems to care about those conflicts. oh well, hipocrisy has always been a prominent trait of humanity.

  50. b-ease Says:

he may be the wackest rap icon ever

    ^^
More like the least interesting. He’s not a bad rapper from a technical aspect, but his influence is nil. He’s a cypher, no persona. He sounds like he was created in a board meeting at Universal.

  51. cOLD Says:

I’ve never listened to a T.I album either, but with an album titled Trap Musik and him calling himself the rubber band man, I assumed he was talking about street life.

    ^^
Sai’s persona won’t do much to uplift as long as he’s punching people in the face at SOB’s and other assorted dumb shit. Like you said before, I think his best bet is to go with gangsta rap that is peppered with consiousness. Keep in mind also though, that persona and all aside, Come on Baby and Pain in My Life just werent that strong as songs. That’s got to be taken into account for his treatment by the label, just as much as his dilemna regarding how gangsta/conscious to be.

  56. m-lito aka Ghost Says:

  57. R.J.Orion Says:

shouldnt one of the necessary requirements for being a good MC, be that you are a good speaker ? … isnt conveying words one of the first steps to rapping ? … how can you be considered a great rapper if you not even speaking properly … i aint got time to sort throught their regional dialect idiosyncracies and personal learning disabilities … their ccommunications should be clear and concise … like JayZ … KRS1 … NaS … Pharoah … ChuckD … Luda …

not all bammas are incoherent … at one time you could understand the southern MC … i knew what 3000 and 3-6 mafia, and Pastor Troy were saying … but this new breed of TI & Young Dro type of slum coonery is beyond wack to me … them niggas rhyming for the sake of rhyming … and then they just hoping that the beat and the hook holds them down … Gucci Mane & his type too … Jeezy too … somebody paying these people alot of money to fuck up the art form …

  58. D. Billz Says:

AND I’m still hating because he jacked the Crystal Waters beat with no tweaks and alterations and made it a hit record. I’m like… is that it?? So you saying I could’ve just slowed down the beat and got royalty checks? (c) Total’s “Cant You See” sample of James Brown’s “The Big Payback”

  59. b-ease Says:

With that said, Urban Legend is a dope album. King is typical, Trap Musik is hilariously overrated, and I have no urge to hear the other two in any capacity.
