    Or the “One More Chance rmx”? Seems like they were going for more obscure joints rather than the obvious.

    *daps Billz*

    ^Cosign both. I totally forgot about Akinyele… that song is an East Coast CLASSIC. You could even play that song Down South right now in 2008 and the response would still be same.

    Not if you’re a half-decent MC.

    And the above statement is borderline ayo. I know it’s common hiphop vernacular, but I gotta call it like I see it.

    ^First mistake when listening to any music from that region. Just let be what it is. And I don’t even think that nigga has an inkling of redeemable MC qualities. But if works, then fuck it. He got a few songs that reeks of pure ignorance but I enjoy ’em, a la “Bitch I Might Be” (c) cMac

    Because they’re lazy. And they don’t want to risk messing up. And because alot of them can’t. Which is wack.

    But I refuse to believe that there’s half decent MC out there that could spit a free as wack as that gucci shit.

    ^Correct. Along with D/R Period and a few others. Swizz got most of the shine because he is kin to Dee and Waah who runs RR.

    Speakin’ of RR, I just heard a lil’ freestyle by Jin in the homie’s whip over that Love Lockdown beat. Not bad. Apparently he has been in Hong Kong making moves. So he says, though, because…

    ===========================================
    Yeah, but he had a couple hot joints over the past few years. Freeway’s “Big Spender”, DJ Drama’s “Takin’ Pictures”, Hell Rell’s “I Ain’t Playin’ Wit Em”. What’s effed up is that with all the cake the Dips were getting at their height, nobody was checkin’ for Grease. It took Max to mess with him to bring him back & now Grease is gonna help put Max where he needs to big. And Dame did all of “It’s Dark…” except “Ruff Ryders Anthem”, arguably the worst song on the album.

    With all the Charles Hamilton BS today (even though the “Brooklyn Girl” video is crack), Harlem has a reason to stand the eff up.

    “It’s that WAVE!!”
