    >>eskay why you think jay been directen shots at p latley, said his name on the put on remix and now this. he cant see prodigy as a threat any more can he?

  24. sleep Says:

Nigga u acting like kc and ag was bad albums. Ag was damm near classic shit

  25. eskay Says:

    >>Im mad because it sucks. I have no idea who he talks about on the second verse because I didnt make it thru the first.

    well if you call tweeter a strategy…then i quit…

  27. jdot Says:

    santogold>>>internet mc’s

internet mc’s = rappers who spent time making youtube videos instead of being in the booth trying to do something actually different.

and different does not mean “bringing back real hip hop”

“bringing back real hip hop” = soul samples/boom bap

  28. Jkay Says:

I wouldn’t tell eskay how to step his shit up..
atleast until some other blog overtakes Nah Right..

  29. jrp14 Says:

Ya there really arent any other blogs touching nahright at the moment

  30. Ty big's Says:

I got to co-sign Plug this song is trash dookje, that first verse is god awful I didn’t make it to the second verse either because my head was screaming to turn that torture noise off so I listened, maybe I’ll fast forward to the second and give it a listen but I don’t know if Jay has earned that

  31. Des Says:

The Mick Boogie version with Big’s verse from The What is a little better. Kind of dumb of me, I started listening to Santogold maybe two weeks ago thinking I was like the first one on this chick, next thing I know she’s already doing features with Hov, and people here treating her like it’s an old thing. Great song though, if people aren’t happy with Jay over this one, I don’t know what to say anymore. I liked the Put On remix, his SLU verse, History, and now this but every time I come on here people acting like it’s bad, what’s your definition of good then?

  32. Rozco Says:

M.I.A.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>x infinity Santagold, and smfh for kanye’s hipster ass to take so long to sample her for SLU, and the rap community in general to catch up to her, shes been blowing up for a couple of years now.

anyways…..im the definition of a jay stan and i really didn’t care for this song whatsoever last night. i dug jockin jay-z right off the bat and i really like history. after a couple more listens it’s really growin on me, and for the people saying jay is biting waynes flow a little bit: yeah he is. he has been actually, am i the only person who noticed this on AG? either way wayne copped his flow for C1 & II so its all good, i’ve just been consistently suprised that Jay is copping waynes.

the song, well, goes hard, but jay didn’t “invent a new flow” with the first verse, hes taking on some of waynes mannerisms, and yeah, that jackie robinson part is fucking ridiculous.

  33. yeah Says:

Eh, reminds me alot of A Milli with the ongoing vocal sample in the background

  34. kdpedro Says:

sounds exactly like swagga like us. is all the kanye songs on the blueprint gonna sound like this?

  35. ENIG MUE Says:

3k hits? Budden does more than that, Budden>>>Jigga

I dont know about this smiling Jay Z rap style either, i hear the verse and picture him cheesing hard. be happy else where

  36. Mag Says:

    Still wack

  37. esquire Says:

kanye’s new production style is starting to show. hov is still > the majority of rappers out there. flows the same they complain. flows differently and they cry. i hope soulja boy drops another disc to make some of these faggots happy

  38. jdot Says:

if you use the word “hipster” thats a pretty god sign that your not relevant

  39. bag dogg Says:

Where did you get that picture of Jay? That is some dope photography!

  40. Mumja Says:

    LOL @ “Filthy version”

  41. jdot Says:

  42. Mr. First Says:

    2 things:

    landLORD Says:
this sounds almost like Blueprint2 era Hove … not bad … definitely better than any AG or KC songs

^^^you’re buggin, my friend. Blueprint 2 Hov is in no way touching American Gangster Hov. Double-disc albums are never a good look.

    ENIG MUE Says:
3k hits? Budden does more than that, Budden>>>Jigga

^^^Right now, today? Budden is definitely better than Hov. This is not a question. One is hungry, the other just married Beyonce. Cosign.

  43. Santana Says:

How dare some of you fools say some dumb shit like HOV is using Weezy’s flow??? Weezy is fucking trash. No matter how many tracks he does with premiere rappers he will continue to be garbage. I do understand that Hov has been out for over 15 years and maybe some of you idiots have gone deaf to the master of flows. There is not 1 flow that weezy has introduced to rap other than hot tridash flows. All you cats out there nit picking… analyzing the first verse and ohhhh the second verse was fire… fuck outta here with that… Your opinion on flow has no credibility. Eskay aint hiring you fools. Ya might as well ask for a job application. 1.

  44. Sened Says:

This beat is raw… reminiscent of that swagger like us, but this one goes harder.. chi tooown we gooo haaard..
