Tumer, your logic is retarted!!! How can you compare putting out 2 albums in 6 years to someone that has put out 10 over the span of 14 years? Like B-ease said….logic fail!

I never was, I just think that’s a nonsensical way of proving that Pusha T is better than Nas. Cause he isnt. Not now. More than likely not ever.
    ^^^
Yeah exactly! his quality control is better. To be perfectly fuckin honest im not that serious the pusha/nas comparison. They’re two completely different artists and Nas is an established legend. However, right now I’d prefer to listen to an album worth of thorntons than one of nas’s mediocre-wasted-potential jawns. My main point really had nothing to do wit PushaT. Nas’s “innovative thinker poet of our time” status is overrated, dude’s like a more well-read Jayceon. The actual substance/intelligence and critical thinking in his raps is overstated and overestimated.
    Lets keep it movin then….

so wavy ish. he’s da wavyness and needs to work with biggest producers
for a project. he needs hot bangers, for a mainstream projection with timbo, or ish like dat ! he needs a lil bit more success, to be stronger in his music !

  31. b-ease Says:

    which P?

    ^^
Prodigy. He basically writes what he rapped on the last track of Product of the 80’s. Jay-Z knows the Illumanati is real, yet knowingly sides with the devil for power. In the song he says that him and E Money Bags tried to tell Nas, but Nas didnt listen. However, Jungle did. I don’t know whether to laugh or get ready for the Armageddon. Prolly just gonna laugh.

Yeah fair nuff. but shiiiiettt. Clipse have a hard enough time gettin those two albums out in 6 years so fuck knows if we’ll ever see that straight P album. Gotta work with what you got though… But seein as Pusha’s completely dope on exactly half his albums and Nas is usually good for about half (if that) of his albums…… the math works for me!
Nah, just shit stirrin[ll]….. movin on

  38. b-ease Says:

Nas’s “innovative thinker poet of our time” status is overrated, dude’s like a more well-read Jayceon. The actual substance/intelligence and critical thinking in his raps is overstated and overestimated.

    ^^
I actually kind of agree with that (except for the well read Jayceon part, that’s too far lol). However, Nas is not overstated or overestimated in terms of his technical rhyming and rhyme writing ability. True, he’s not a fuckin prophet, like some would like to believe, he’s just an amazingly dope MC that’s released a couple “meh” albums over the past couple of years. With that said, if you told me the clipse and nas were both coming out on Tuesday with new albums and that both were unquestionalby incredible, I’d cop the Nas if I could only buy one.

I can’t front I agree with a lot of what P says ( even the Jay shit we have all had this discussion about him switching sides * throws up the roc * ) but the problem is very few people take Prodigy seriously even his fans, so this come off as nonsense to people and makes people less likely to believe shit even if they hear the shit from a more reliable source, it’s like you only ever see cracked out inbred beyond retarded people out their claiming to have seen UFO’s and shit, now that shit gets broadcast to condition everyone to think the thought of aliens is absurd but all the cases of army fighter pilots and other extremely credible people reporting on seeing UFO’s in sight and then watching then take off and seem to just vanish in thin air fly so under the radar and are never picked up by mainstream media and because of this people have been programmed to think anyone who talks about aliens should be put in a looney bin

… yeah the only real times people can come back after being really successful is when they feel they have something to prove, not really to their fans or the public but to themselves, and when they come back with a positive energy and decide to bring it back to just having fun again, which is why I think Em might be able to overcome this shit and release a crazy ill album because all these interviews he has been doing he is just out there wildn having fun and thats the only other mind state ( besides initial hunger ) that can really create the same spark from the start

Point is, like Rigz said, every year hiphop sucks and every year hiphop is dead. The only difference between ’08 and ’88 is that there’s less of the dope shit on TV/radio. But the internet is quickly evening that playing field.
