    lmao @ eskay

alot ppl have there heads stuck in the 90s
it was a great Era in hip hop
but some are very bias to that
its time to keep it moving gents
Hip Hop will never get to where it needs
to be if its controled by bias so called “Hip Hop Heads”

    ^^
But that’s not whats controlling it. Tall Israelis and bad southern rappers are. So your point, is moot.

^^^^ the reason why people focus so much on the 90’s shit (preferably the early-mid 90’s) is because that was the last time you couldn’t get away with the bullshit lyrics, when beef was “beef”, when just anybody couldn’t pick up the mic, etc. it’s about the fundamentals/rules/respect that’s lacking horribly nowadays…

  13. Mark Twain Fame Says:

Maybe NORE needs to go to jail like Capone for a few years…so he can get that doughnuts and cigs filled gut off.

So, can anyone confirm if onxy was really G’z, or just studio gangstas? I still fuck with em, but i’m just wondering. Fredro being on moesha, then sticky getting duffed up by the white boy got me thinking.

^It’s fair to say that they probably wasn’t anywhere near as tough as they made themselves out to be. But “Last Dayz” is one of my all time favorites and still is relevant to this day. Everybody went in, and that opening verse from Fredro is testimony to how I think about life in Amerikkka.

I’m Amerikkka’s nightmare: young, Black and just don’t give a fuck / I just wanna get high and live it up / so fuck a nine-to-five / and whiteys try’na slave us / wit’ minimum wages / slammin’ my niggas up in cages

LF: M.O.P. are the only mofos in the industry that I actually believe will do what they rap about. Word to Fame knockin’ somebody out right before he did a Mass Appeal interview.

I would actually say that if you’re mad at the 90’s your, a 90’s baby. Its kids that were born in like 93 and 94 that are 14 and 15 right now, loving Rokko.

I was born and ’83, so I was 10-14 during the “2nd golden age” (Cuban Linx, It was Written, Soul Food, etc etc), which IMO is the age range when you grow away from all parental influence of taste and become consumed by whatever your peers are consumed by.

    okay super agreed.

wanna know what my first rap CD (cause I already had cassette’s and my bro had some vinyl) was… my moms got it for me, it was 2pac’s Strictly For My N****z. Hella white dude with that album…ha. My mom didn’t know it was “explicit” and had curse words and adult language, etc even though there was a huge explicit lyrics label on the front and well the title!…ha.

I was blasting that ish hella loud on day on the boombox and my mom comes bustin in like…

MTF Mom: what the hell are you listening to, what is this?!

Me: It’s 2Pac ma, it’s Hip Hop music.

MTF Mom: well whats with the cursing and bitches and N words, where the hell did you get this?!

    Me: …From you.

    MTF Mom: Oh…well…turn it down.

    Ha!

Why isn’t anyone bringing up the fact that Michael Phelps has Marfan’s syndrome? People are talking all about how scientists can’t figure out how he’s so good.
Proof’s right there- MARFANS. Now i know ppl will be like “ohh he overcame a disease and is an olympian! awesome!”
Dude’s got hyperflexible joints and extra long digits on his hands and feet. And please don’t come back at me with marfan’s being a heart problem. Granted marfan’s people can die of dissecting aortic aneurysms but you still can’t ignore the hyperextendable joints and extra long digits on hands and feet.
+1 for abe for paying attention in med school.

My mom never had a problem with any of the music I played (I used to bang all my shit downstairs mad loud, but my moms cool as shit, i digress) except for two songs : “Hit Em Up” (she told me to never EVER play that shit in her house again!), and “Firm Fiasco” (Foxy’s verse was “filthy” although she didnt ban that song from the house).
