    >>So just because he can channel the mind of Alfred Lord Tennyson and write like Carol Ann Duffy and rap about the moon and the stars that makes him hot….He lacks the ability to RAP….yes he Can WRITE but he can’t RAP….Major difference….

I mean, it is what it is Boosie. because, honestly, who the fuck are you? you’re a screename on the internet. dont like 3 people from LSU post under the ‘Boosie’ moniker? so which one are you today? real flesh and blood people who’s opinion actually matters and is worth something have co-signed Mickey’s skills, but you’re right, if you say he’s wack, he must be wack.
    ___________________________________________________________

Lol, now Eskay is trying to attack my character, by inserting personal stuff about me…..See this is what I think of the whole internet blog thang….It’s only one Person and that’s me the Nigga who you see on the nahright ning page looking so fresh to def….Eat pork chops and neck bones and rock a six pack….

I’m not so much saying that Mickey is trash, but the dude is lame…..That’s the only thing….It’s like a nerd in highschool trying to rap about his trigonometry subjects explaining how sine/co sine and the adjacent hypotenuse….So yes his written verse writing game is pretty nice and decent and even some tracks I heard were moderately good, but he lacks presence…..It’s like watching cornell vs. dartmouth…..to fundamental of a basketball game, I’m used to seeing niggas crossing up and dunking on cats….sorry thats just me…and my opinion is only opinion

    SMH at my latest post

    Famous Daves >

    Wish I had a beer

  3. Mark Twain Fame Says:

also your quickly switching this argument to who’s “hot” instead of what was intitally sparked by you saying Mickey is wack in rappin and soulja boy is better than him.

I’m speaking about ability, lyrics, flow…Mickey has SOulja topped on that note.

now if we get into the half assed simplistic ish of who’s hotter than of course Soulja is…dude’s got millions sold, ringtones, songs on radio, etc etc.

  4. Rockabye Says:

to Rockabye and Mark weezy and to all the elitist nahrighters,

You People( yes you people)….are so functioned to think that if a person raps like rakim he has some “spit” to him…If he raps like joell ortiz, then oh he must be good…Your train of thoughts and the music you listen to, has conformed your mind that these ABSTRACT ANALYTICAL VERSES, are deemed “hot’…when That is only one regions style of rapping….The reason why you think your ten year old nephew can rap better than soulja boy cause he puts multi-syllabic words together and channels the great veteran nas….But there is more to rapping than just that……Pretty soon a new style will emerge and that old New york flow will be in the past….It was hot for its time, but things change, and you are basing your opinions off what you are used to hearing.
    ^
    A new style will emerge…

Soulja Boy Up In This Hoe
Watch me Lean And Watch Me Rock?
    Super Man Dat Hoe
Then Watch me Crank Dat Robocop?
Super Fresh, Now Watch Me Jock
    Jocking On Them Haterz Man
When I Do Dat Soulja Boy
I Lean To The Left And Crank Dat Dance
    (Now You)
I’m Jocking On Yo Bitch Ass
And If We Get to Fightin
Then I’m Cocking On Your Bitch Ass
You Catch Me At Yo Local Party
    Yes I Crank It Everyday
    Haterz Get Mad Cause
“I Got Me some Bathing Apes”

I’m sorry, I could flow like Niagra and not make that shit sound halfway decent.

At best, that’s deliriously stupid, and I actually like that song, as a beat to move to and a crunk-sounding jam.

But it’s morally reprehensible (this is a debauched 16-year-old kid rapping about what’s supposed to be his life, and we’re worried about Miley Cyrus heralding the downfall of civilization?), full of a choppy, off-color and only barely on-beat flow. If this is a style that did anything but hit the lowest common denominator, I might be able to support it.

    It doesn’t.

  5. Mr. Papagiorgio aka Trill Goldberg Says:

Soulja Boy isn’t wack because he talks with a Southern accent, he’s wack because he’s wack. and I’m not a SB hater by any means, but the kid is not a good rapper.

    ^^
donk > back dat azz up

    *laughs really hard and poops self. . . just a lil. . . .

  6. PHOENIXXX Says:

Souljah Boy and Mickey Facts got niggas ready to kill each other over blogs and zshare links

they might be the new 2pac and Biggie

  7. Dr Flav Says:

    “oh horsepoop.”

    Okay how about:

Loud queers on phones > Serious Jones

You have to say these out loud and have the right inflection. LOL

  8. Rockabye Says:

Mind you, Soulja Boy is all of four months younger than me (born day 7/28/1990), so while I was wrong about him being 16, it’s not like I don’t know my age and my peers.

  9. Latarian Milton Says:

es you’ve already dug the grave for record sales – problem is, nobody agrees with you – shit’s not even in the casket yet

    so long as:

    country albums,
    christmas albums,
    teeny pop star albums, and
    kanye and wayne

sell a million-plus, the record industry is going to focus on sales

people have been saying for the last five years that sales are not going to matter any more. guess what? people keep waking up to a world where sales matter. all this destroy-and-rebuild stuff? sounds great in theory. everybody can speak very intelligently about the destory part. nobody has yet artiuclated a fully viable way of rebuilding. obviously i understand the cultural significance of blogs but if you think that this is the end-all be-all of the new musical horizon, you’re wrong for a number of reasons.

btw i don’t think we’re disagreeing — for the record i think you’ve made a number of salient points. i’m just putting ideas out there

  10. Big Homie Says:

lol at Souljah Boy and the word rapper in the same sentence.

It’s like watching cornell vs. dartmouth…..to fundamental of a basketball game, I’m used to seeing niggas crossing up and dunking on cats….sorry thats just me…and my opinion is only opinion

^good analogy, I’d had to agree with this.

  12. Mr. Papagiorgio aka Trill Goldberg Says:

*refuses to download anything that has “the hard way intro” as a track*

  13. Boosie Says:

    Oh and one more thing,

eskay the reason you thought I was two or people cause I made up a character name called flipper which was the ORGINAL pic poster of busted/hood/pretty chicks….But I stopped cause it got old……and I came up with the name Boosie because that’s when everybody was bumping his music and the only name I was hearing….I played like Flipper and Boosie was two different people only to make the day interesting and the time goes by…..People are gonna laugh and say I’m schitzo or whatever but I’m just a normal cat making up shit passing the time and doing homework all at the same time…..It’s not like I go to the bat cave and come up with these ideas….I never even mentioned nahright to anyone outside of Myself…I dont use any internet slang….So I don’t know why you acting like I’m some sort of far out person…This whole internet shit is entertainment and jokes….If you get mad that’s on you…

  14. Mark Twain Fame Says:

I’m not so much saying that Mickey is trash, but the dude is lame…..That’s the only thing….It’s like a nerd in highschool trying to rap about his trigonometry subjects explaining how sine/co sine and the adjacent hypotenuse….So yes his written verse writing game is pretty nice and decent and even some tracks I heard were moderately good, but he lacks presence…..It’s like watching cornell vs. dartmouth…..to fundamental of a basketball game, I’m used to seeing niggas crossing up and dunking on cats….sorry thats just me…and my opinion is only opinion

    ^^^

then we will keep it at just that…your opinion.

cause yeah just cause someone raps about more “nerdy” subject matters, and intellectual multi symballic type of raps dont mean they wack either…

just like how you think eskay and whomever is judging you about being some dumb simple crunk Southern cat by lookin at your ning pics dont assume rappers in mickeys or mickey himself lane are just book nerds that talk about “calculus and geometric formulas” and “stars and moons”, they talk about some different left field ish sometimes but alot of people can relate to it and they do get an audience so he is connecting with someone.

I don’t think people have been saying that for 5 years. I think they’re only recently waking up to that fact. and you’re right, nobody has come up with a viable replacement yet, but people are definitely trying. EMI just hired a former Google exec as their President of Digital Strategy or whatever. that kind of move is unheard of in the music industry and it just underscores the direction that music is going. the record sales model is on its last legs.

don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of fun ayo’ing & pausin’ and what not, but Culture was like actually serious in saying that the ad was gay.

and Boosie, shut the fuck up. I like Rich Boy, and that nigga’s flow is the furthest thing from standard New York rhyming that you can find, and I can’t even understand the nigga half the time.

Soulja Boy isn’t wack because he talks with a Southern accent, he’s wack because he’s wack. and I’m not a SB hater by any means, but the kid is not a good rapper.

    Eskay,

You’re not getting me riled up with all this aggressive content….Right Now I’m eating an Arby’s toasted sub laughing at what you are writing….Telling me to shut the fuck up and calling me an idiot is only going to make me say more critical things about mickey factz…..and I know this subject angers you and makes you want to “spit” in my face but I can’t help but to be laughing right now….You’re like a grumpy old blogger…….The past few days you have been a lil too agressive, and I guess if we saw each other in person you’ll knock the spit out of my mouth and body slam me?…..But whatever this is just funny to me…..

Soulja is not trying to rap like cats in the past….He has he erased the whole template of the normal writing style of rap….Paul laurence dunbar is pre-historic Soulja boy and he is Hailed and even has a dedicated musem/house in the hood off third street in the city where I was born….Soulja boy is a modern day kid stepn fetchit/ bo jangles….all but He’s not catering to white folks….these are southern roots…their whole style is different and different usually means something people wrestle with and don’t like.
