Ha ha ha, I cosign all above statements referring to gibberish rap (which I love). Like, for example…

    >>could be some aggy talk right there. i don’t think Jay went back to him after RD??

he also says Jay is the greatest. you really should watch this all the way to the end if you get a chance.

  42. Deano Says:

He’s(ski) right to some degree about Camp Lo. Jay’s early works sounds a lot like Camp Lo’s flow. They came with some fly ish dudes weren’t ready for in the 90’s (only ‘true backpackers now turn hipsters’ gave ’em love). Nahright, you should put up Camp Lo’s debut video(not the one with digiable planets)and compare it to today’s young, fly’n’flashy ish, same ish virtually.

They were bussing dance moves and rhyming at the same time. They were too fly; some dudes thought they were too sweet on their feet. Their flow sounds like some futuristic blaxploitation pimp ish, hence they were too fly for the time and did not get the mainstream recognition.

  43. thoreauly77 Says:

the only thing more obvious from that interview than him saying camp lo was more lyrically creative than jay is the fact that this new emcee he is working with is straight dookie. he needs to be working more with the lo like he was with the fort apache tape and … fuck, i forgot what the name of their album was. black hollywood? anyhow, the point is made.

  44. thoreauly77 Says:

venn tech, that comparison is bullshit. lo has so much more and still shit all over the ck’s.

  45. e-dubbs Says:

camp lo was the best dressed duo during they era.. ahead of they time on that 70’s ish.. but why no mention of sporty thievz?

  46. kenny Says:

jayz went from jaz o , to fu shinkens , to camplo , to peter gunz , plus a lil of kurupts repetitve flow , the young chirs whipser flow ..

i dont consider it biting tho . to me an mc is allowed to borrow and flip styles. jigga who .. was clearly a master and apprentice kinda track tho
