^i can definitely respect ur opinion and can see where u are coming from, but for example, with christianity islam or judaism which are pretty similar, the basic message is of good and if people practiced it the way they were supposed to i.e. no corrupt leaders killing/profiting in the name of religion, we would live in a great place…i agree that thinking u are better than another person just based on what faith u belong to is wrong whcih goes back to my statement of just being a good person and doing what u think is right not necessarily what religion tells u to do
    ^^^
i’m sure you read the bible or at least have a strong general knowledge of it, the 3 prime religions on earth are as you said christianity, judaism & islam, in the bible there’s the story of the tower of babble, and how humanity as a whole wanted to build a structure so tall it would reach the heavens and they could all find their way to god… and what does god do, god creates languages in a ditch effort to confuse everyone and seperate them into groups so they wouldn’t be able to communicate as a whole and finish their goal… because of this confusion chaos insues…

my point in putting that out there is this, even in the bible if you’re a believer, GOD itself (i say it, because who knows what god is, have yo uever seen it?) feared the ability humanity had and found a way to push us down… now i don’t know about you, but a god who fears lesser beings, doesn’t make sense to me, humanity above all

  9. ODEMIC Says:

by a society, our morals are different form that of the middle east, so morals is inediquate in this topic, and law is constantly broken, if you smoke weed you’re breaking the law, if you J walk, breaking the law, not filing taxes, breaking the law… so your law theory holds strength but not enough to stop someone who thinks they are doing right

    >>ok, if you wanna go that deep with it.

What is right? What is wrong? Is it what you really think it is? there is nothing that really stipulates if “my right” is more right than “your right”, right?

so is it important that they think it is “right” or that it pleases them and servers their purpose.

Cause if you’re talking right and wrong, then what is the defining criteria for “right” or “wrong”?

^First your statement doesn’t refute the statement. Second, Rastas are opressing no one. The principle overstanding of Rasta is ONENESS. So there is no separateness. Rastas believe in vegetarian living in one with nature. Who has Rasta dominated? All Rasta demands is freedom for every living being. So where is the contradiction?
    ^^^

i guess you never seen a true Rasta around meat eaters, not the nicest people to be around, since their so deep on oneness…

that goes into my point of asking that question, right/wrong what makes it what it is, what makes something morally sound? we think what we’ve grown to believe as right and wrong to be it, but i ask you this… what if god was wrong, and Lucifer was right???

    >>LOL, i get where you’re coming from, and again, my answer to that is that it’s not about whether GOD is wrong and LUCIFER is right.

It’s whether following the teachings and accepting the guidance of GOD or choosing to follow the same offered by LUCIFER is what serves My Purpose.

One has to do introspection and figure what serves One’s purpose and stick with that. So, if it turns out that you were “Wrong”, you are still Right where you choose to be.

^^It’s true, isn’t it? I never understand when people talk about a sports team they like and say things like “we totally killed ’em last night!” as if they had anything to do with it. You live in the same city or near it. Some people choose otherwise, but most people pick what they can reach. That’s why the Middle East is mostly Muslim and the West is mostly cracker, uh…Christian. Every religion has good things and bad things, which is why none of them are entirely right. If any belief system was truly the written carnation of a higher being’s will, wouldn’t it be so obvious that there could be no dispute?

  22. RIGZ Says:

The moral of the story is that The Most High cannot be reached by climbing or flying into the sky…The Highest is omnipresent & not some character in the sky looking down on us

The people who built these towers were idol worshipers…

so they was punished by having to speak in a language of confusion…which is probably the same language we are speakin right now

  23. pockets Says:

    >and what does god do, god creates languages in a ditch effort to confuse everyone and seperate them into groups

^i dont believe god created languages, i think people did

true words spoken, enviroment has alot to do with it, oddly enough i was raised to be christian, but felt and saw so much fault in the path of it… i must say someone hwo’s opened my eyes to things is the Delai Lamah, not religious, believes in science, and is argueably the most peaceful person on earth, he’s enlightened me to search within myself and find whats best for me, i’m still searching strongly but one thing i can say for sure, i am the keeper of my form, the leader of my mind, and the decider of my rightful paths, Master of my being

so because we experience disease and can be currupted by viruses, we’re not perfect?… perfection doesn’t mean you’re inpenetrable, that’s an arrogant thing to believe, we are perfect because of our obvious evolution throughout time, so many species have come and gone, yet humanity thrives in survival, even when destroying ourselves, we still last longer, the only other species that bids of competition are insects, and even they in their mass numbers are no match for us… we are perfect because we last with time itself, and continue to grow stronger, smarter and capable to overcome, look around you, you are witnessing mans work in it’s purest form, and we’ve yet to scratch the surface on what we can do, soon we’ll create civilization on mars, and then beyond, humanity is perfect, because we overcome all odds… Yes We Can (c) Obama!!!
