Isn’t baby mama a title you never get unless the kid is out of wedlock and something you lose when you marry? Fox must not employ a black person under the age of 40 or something.

But, you know, not referring to McCain’s wife that way, that’s partly because I don’t think McCain’s current wife is his children’s mother…

Funny, ain’t it, that on the Dem side we had three long-lasting marriages at the top (Obama, Billary, the Edwardses) and on the GOP side, divorcees McCain and Giuliani. Values, fam.

I dunno about you, but I fux with Factz when I hear him, with the Cool Kids, with that one Bun B/Lupe song that I played about 42 times in three days or something absurd like that, and the Art of Storytelling and Royal Flush stuff from the ‘Kast. Lots of dribs and drabs of good to great stuff.

Full releases, I dunno. I’m still waiting on that Gangsta Grillz comp that shoulda been around by now, and I haven’t bought that Roots album yet, but I will.

Beginning of this year, I was still on American Gangster and Graduation and The Cool, though, they were long-play, many repeat monsters that I had to hear over and over. So I insulated myself with good shit, but I think we had a drought from about January ’til now, that we were in extended Soulja Boy and beginning of Low era, and that we’re on the other side of that shit now.

yea, there’s been so many great songs this year that the lack of full lenghts is something I’ve been able to overlook. I think that’s more to do with the quanity of LP’s that have been released, rather than the quality.

And yes, “Hi Hater”, is one of the worst songs ever. And yes, I’m still going to do the funny wave and jump up on something thick when it comes on in the bar/club. It is what it is.

I co all of that. I’ve been behind Obama since ’04, since that speech (I waved signs for Kerry back then, but…who were we kidding?) and I’m gonna find a way to give time, money, energy, whatever to getting him elected.

    And if he gets got…

…America lost, and I will spend the rest of my life trying to make it what Obama would have. He’s the best, mayne, he’s someone who actually wants to change the world, he’s running because he wants to do something good and thinks he’s the best person to do it and not because it’s the culmination of a political career (c) Hillary and McCain.

He’s our Kennedy, our Lincoln, our Washington, BECAUSE he’s OURS, because he appeals to the best in all of us, because he’s mobilized people to do great things for him because they think he can do great things for the country.

And if his inaugural doesn’t have “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country, I will be shocked beyond shocked.”

Politics, in this case, in the best cases, isn’t about just healthcare or Iraq or that, it’s about getting people to believe in doing good for other people, in the idea that the world gets better and that we can do something about it. It’s empowering people and not tearing them apart; it’s figuring out why there are people who disagree violently with each other and how to deal with it instead of blindly fighting wars; it’s giving hope instead of fear.

This is our chance. Don’t. Fucking. Waste. It.

I missed the 9th & Jean (full-album?), Buckshot & 9th was wack!, HNIC2 was actually much stronger than I expected, and I should listen again before I shit on it (tho I did like the “revolutionary” shit P was talking on the first tracks) and the Gnarls actually I didn’t like anywhere near as much as their first one (and that’s another pop release that isn’t even in the same lane as “hiphop”)… and for the record, I still buy CD’s if I’m going to anticipate playing your album repeated times…
