We could ask the same of Jordan…but we know he’s the greatest when it comes to basketball.

Then again, Jordan let’s us where shoes with his name and number on them, and for that, I am eternally grateful (this is not sarcasm)

    *daps*

    what up nah

Thanks to all, no homo, but I prolly have the softest voice in rap history, Shout out to all the girls houses I use to call back in the day & they thought I was there homegirl instead of a guy that was tryna get some. lol. All I ask for is a non bias listen & a honest opinion.

More music to come. I wanna be the first commenter on nah right to get his own post (n/h)

  10. catch22 Says:

..and to be the greatest of all time, you have to keep on releasing joints? is that why jay refuses to retire?

  11. CS88_RICH_UNCLE_PENNYBAGS Says:

Format: In blogging years you’re a veteran, what’s your advice to bloggers who are just starting out?
eskay: Be original and study the world you’re about to enter. Since hip-hop blogging started to take off in 2007, I’ve seen an influx of people who seem to be getting into it for money or what little fame it can offer. Leave that hustler mentality behind. If you’re a great blogger and you have something of value to offer, then money and recognition will come your way. But the last thing we need is 1,000 more shitty blogs regurgitating the same information. Also, don’t follow the blueprint of the established hip-hop websites. You’re a blogger, not a journalist, so leave that for the professionals and don’t be afraid to inject your own opinion into whatever you’re posting or writing about.

    @ Billz

I just got your response, thanks for the support, & thanks for even giving it a listen, i’m still working on my craft all around (my delivery, my wordplay, etc) & that was a rough draft, so you know when we finalize the song it’ll sound a gazillion times better, but my confidence couldn’t hold me back from wanting people ears to hear what i’m saying. Lyrically, I wanna be one of the best, (hopefully it shows thru the songs I posted) & at the same time be marketable I think I can walk that line, only time will tell, anyway

Juelz has a flow that most rappers don’t have…..plus his witty punchlines, but they aren’t in the standard punchline format……..then he’ll slow his flow down and catch you off guard with some crazy ass lines….

  70. catch22 Says:

i remember right after sept 11 2001, there was some interview with a bunch of emcees and hip-hop personalities where they were talking about rappers taking the names of criminals (escobar, scarface, etc) and dame dash was talkin ’bout, no one should call themselves osama, or al-qaeda, or taliban because that would just be straight up disrespectful. and next summer the dips are shouting taliban all over there shit.

  71. D. Billz Says:

I thought those Russian joints was that deal. However, I’m one of those cats that can appreciate certain styles even though I know damn well I wouldn’t rock because it’s, a.) just not my style, or b.) I’d look stupid. And the last thing I want to do is to obscure my handsomeness with the ladies.

  72. chea Says:

billz did you ever land an A&R gig?

also i know you said that you rap yourself

do you think a lot of A&Rs are rappers but just want to be close to the action

    rap is funny like that

it’s like a dude with hoop dreams settling for being a high-payed water boy in some respects

no dissing, i just know from people i knew in DC who were A&Rs that the shit is totally un-glamorous

btw one thing i learned about dipset is that they are all completely in their own lane

like if g-unit is on one end of the spectrum where they strictly follow orders and hate the same cats and love the same cats, the dips are completely opposite

they got in-fighting, they collab with other dips’ enemies, they just get cake, they don’t give a shit, and fuck ya if your feelings are hurt

i don’t fuck with them really but i like their model of doing business, it’s more capitalistic and it lets the talented ones get cake even if others among them are falling by the wayside (i see you hell rell)
