Suge Offered a Rematch?

As noted in the comments of the previous post, TMZ is like ether to rappers and celebs in 2008.

TMZ has learned that several Las Vegas promoters — including Jeff Beacher of Beacher’s Madhouse — have invited Suge Knight and the guy who knocked him out to face up in a bare-knuckled cage match that is. If all goes to plan, the fight would go down on New Year’s Eve and the winner would receive a cool million bucks.

Ha ha. I heard Game on Hot 97 last night telling Flex that he’s looking for dude so he can sign him to BWS.

    ^ nah

new Chappelle epsiodes > becoming afrocentric… OUTTA NOWHERE

**He said that he lost it, when he could no longer tell if the white audience was laughing with him or AT him, and that he was concerned throughout the show that he was coming across as being coonish, rather than cutting edge…even ?uestlove said that he got a weird vibe from the white creative staff on Chappelle’s show, especially Neil Brennan, when he did that “Niggar” sketch, with how they were always insisting on pushing the envelope on racial topics, beyond the comfort zone…I think that Chappelle’s show was brilliant, but I can understand where the discomfort and doubt came from….

@ nation- I get where you’re coming from (nah), but some blacks are sensitive about being “interpreted” by whites; even now, I love some old episodes of Good Times, but it was offputting like shit, when I found out that Jay Leno used to be one of the head writers—WTF? Even on a show like “the Wire”, which is one of my all time favorites, you can see where some cracka ass writer was prolly like, “Yeaaaaaaah, that’s greaaaaaat, but would you mind…i don’t know….ummm….niggering up the dialogue a little bit there, homeboy? Thaaaaaaaaanks”…Chappelle prolly felt like he was losing creative control, and maybe being coerced going for the cheap laugh at his expense; I mean, that whole supposed “3rd Season” had like maybe 5 funny skits, total….

^^^ (c) Bamboozled is a 2000 satirical film written and directed by Spike Lee about a modern televised minstrel show featuring black actors donning blackface makeup and the violent fall-out from the show’s success. The word “bamboozled” means “purposefully confused, tricked or led astray”.

[…] The end of the week has arrived, and it ended with the Cavs losing to the Celtics in game 7. Shoutout to Lebron for putting up such an incredible fight. Who would have thought Pierce was gonna show up today? MTV showed up with their “Hottest MC’s” list this week too and it seems like everyone has their opinions on it. Nas made his rounds all through the press this week as well. Word is he changed the title of his album, i guess we’ll see what happens. Remy Ma got the news that shes gonna be property of the state of New York for 8 years and even the ‘victim‘ of the shooting was making her rounds on the radio. At least she didnt skip out on hospital bills like DMX did. Dissapointingly, rappers cant even co-sign their own albums anymore, while everyone is so caught up with the Suge knockout guy. Enjoy your 15 seconds of fame kid. […]
