wright did what he did for his ego’s sake not for God. JEWS WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO EACH OTHER

    ^^^^^

How so? Its not like his message CHANGED when he got on TV. All he did was find a bigger soapbox to stand on. Aint nothing wrong with that.

For DECADES black people been complaining that smart, informed bredahs like Rev.Wright have no forum to speak…But when it actually happens everyone complains…Why? Because having a trophy Black President is more important? Because mainstream White America cant handle the message (READ: THE TRUTH)?

And the icing on the cake is when black people say “Oh its the truth, but its not the right TIME for that”.

    WTF??

What kinda House Nigger Sambo shit is that?

Call me crazy, but I dont understand

    you gotta pick your battles

rev wriht aint sayin nothin new. word to Malcolm. MLK, Al sharpten and Jesse.

The US is in a position to elect a diverse president that could benefit all races. Rev Wright’s views (which is any saine man’s views) could hurt barak’s campaine. THEY see Rev Wright as a threat and a radical. If Rev Wright was smart he would fall back out of respect and intelligence. remember, this is chess not checkers

that’s because they are thinking the stakes are higher ! i mean he denounced obama as a flat-out liar which is not necessarily true if thats what obma believes ! i think ppl get caught up in misunderstanding what is actually a person’s belief versus what is facts and pastor wright just called obama a liar by saying what he’s been saying !

^to say the government created AIDS during the height of political season is meant to destroy obama’s chances to the nomination. he did so in order to get back at what he saw as a slight in obama’s speech on race. its not like he is championing black people. that was a self-aggrandizing act. he wanted his fifteen minutes no matter what the cost…

“thats why black people cant have anything” (c) reasonable doubt

  22. Ghost Writer Says:

John was a salesman’s delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmick. His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him
    to change.

One day, John came home with another one of his unusual
purchases. It was a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector.
It was just about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old
son returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late.
‘Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting
    home?’, they asked.
‘Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit
    project’ said Tommy.
The Robot then walked around the table and slapped Tommy,
knocking him completely out of his chair.
    ‘Son, this robot is
a lie detector, now tell us where you went
    after school.’
‘We went to Bobby’s house and watched a movie.’
‘What did you watch?’ asked Marsha.
    ‘The Ten Commandments.’ answered Tommy.
The Robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him,
    knocking him off his chair.
With lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, ‘I am sorry I
lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen.’
‘I’m ashamed of you Son,’ said John. ‘When I was your age, I
    never lied to my parents.’
The robot then walked around to John and delivered a roundhouse
right that nearly knocked him out of his chair.
Marsha was bent double laughing, almost in tears.
    ‘Boy, did you
    ever ask for that one!
And you can’t be too mad with Tommy. After all, He is your son!’

The Robot immediately walked around to Marsha, and slapped her
    three times.

  27. RIGZ Says:

Man, I just dunno about all this shit.

If Rev.Wright compromises his message because Barak is running for president, thats the weakest thing he could ever do…

If your JOB is to spread a message (he’s a PASTOR, not a part of Barak’s party) & every news station calls you and gives you the opportunity to do so, why shouldnt you? Because your gonna scare people into not voting for a black man?

People preaching shouldnt be worrying about whether their message is gonna hurt someone’s political campaign. He shouldnt be concerned with that.

Preachers shouldnt be concerned with being politically correct. They should just be concerned with TRUTH.

All that other shit concerning Obama aint Rev.Wright’s concern. He reps his church not Obama. Why should he censor himself?

that’s whatsup, I think we all need to fall back from jumping on the wheres Jay-z to help shit ( myself included sometimes ) he does his part and even if we aren’t sure if he is doesn’t mean that he isn’t

also the whole shit with people taking shots at Grafh, Pap Ortiz and anyone else for making songs on the Sean Bell case is crazy, how can you condemn them for this ? they ain’t Jay-Z they aren’t exactly in a position to set up a college education fund for the kids, they can only do one thing and thats try to get the message out in their music and try to use their songs to influence people how can you knock them for trying ? So you would rather they just ignore the topic and get back to rapping about bitches drugs and money ?

smh @ rappers rapping about things of actual consequence and people slamming them for it and these are the same people talking about so and so raps about his money too much I can’t relate, which is it ? you want people to rap about real serious issues or you gonna condemn them for it

and like Eskay says these people ain’t getting no shine from doing these songs except for to get their message/point of view out to the kids and adults you listen to and are influenced by them, not one of them is getting anywhere closer to getting a album put out instead it pushes them farther back but I guess that doesn’t get them any points

^ so whats it mean if they address the topic real quick then go right back to rapping about bitches a drugs? is there any more meaning because they took a few seconds to say something then revert right back to he bullshit & debauchery?

im all for addressing shit– but of you really mean it– do something more than just write a song.

and props to hovi hov for setting up the trust find.

Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, saw his second official solo album H.N.I.C. Part II enter the charts this week at No. 36. The highly anticipated follow up to P’s debut H.N.I.C., was rather disappointing as the incarcerated rapper sold a below par 13,300 copies.

I feel you greenie, but you gotta give credit where it’s due. for example, say what you want about Papoose, but he’s been making songs addressing issues like this since waaay before Sean Bell was killed. Joell and Styles P too.

  40. no more ty big's just call me Kenard Says:

    _______

and what exactly would you have them do ? no shots fired but what are you doing to make sure things like this don’t go unnoticed ? what are you doing to make sure they don’t slip back into the bullshit & debauchery ?

I say no shots fired cause I mean it theres not much you can do about it theres not shit any of us can do to change the system thats been in place since damn nigh the beginning of time, so your writing your thoughts about it on a blog which is probably the most you can do same as all of us, these rapper have more of a voice so they can choose to rap about it but anymore than that and you got them on a much higher pedistal than they really are, your giving them more power than they actually have

if a movie director/producer/writer chooses to make a real movie with a real message and a point behind it does that get scrutinized the same ? or will people take it for what it’s worth ? even if there next movie is more commercial that still helps with the overall message if they can reach more people, sometimes you got to feed into the mainstream to get their attention and get their ear and once you have it then they hear songs or see movies with real meaning and their message gets across, also like Eskay says these rappers are people who consistently rap about topics along these lines, it’s not like DMX, Main-O, Jeezy, or Juvenile rapping about something they never touch on, how do we condemn them for trying to do something positive no matter how insignificant you think the effect of said positiveness can be
