Aight icon I’m wrong and you’re right……..everybody was using punchlines every 4 bars before Banks…..I’m sorry to have upset you sir

***LOL, nah, it’s not like that, fam…I mean, maybe Banks is the best/most prolific punchline artist, in your opinion…it’s all subjective…also, some of us on here are older-if you’re under 25, chances are you have no idea how influential Redman, Chino, Finesse, Big L n’dem are/were, unless you have an oldhead brother or something…

    ***Daps***

And oh yeah, Jadakiss shoulda been on the punchline list, too, lol…

Whats the last ill LP Rakim released?

The Master & The 7th Letter were doo-doo to me…

    Sooo…

Rakim hasnt done anything nice since he & Eric. B parted ways IMO.

And I cant listen to Ra now…He stopped getting better in 92. Hasnt changed since then…

And the game caught up to him and surpassed him in 93/94. He hasnt been able to catch up since…

    Real talk.

    G Rap >>> Rakim

I’m beginning to realize that as rap music is getting older, its history is slowly being lost…

^That’s just life, not just rap, but you can’t blame the young’n for not having the same knowledge of hip hop as you. It’s mofo’s in the NBA who don’t know who bob pettite is, or Pete maravich, but they can tell you about kobe, that’s just how times are, I had a lil nugget say T-Mac is better than Jordan, my first reaction was to bitch slap em, but I realized I couldn’t be too mad at em, young kids like what they see, then when they get older they’ll appreciate the four fathers, but a child/kid shouldn’t be held at fault for not liking or even caring about the past of rap, now if there an adult & feel like then somethings wrong. I know I didn’t know, or cared to know who Aalon is, but since i’ve been grown, I found a whole new liking for music before my time. It’s just a cycle, they’ll get older & be like “who the fuck is mc gas mask?” He’ll never be as ill as young joc, lol

  14. Willy Swagger Says:

How could they deport Tejada if he is here legally and has a green card?

The process of obtaining a green card includes a question on drug use. The fact that Tejada has a green card indicates he denied drug use in his application. If federal authorities can show he was using steroids, he would be guilty of a false statement at the time of his most recent green card application. In contrast to an erroneous birth date or a one-letter change in the spelling of a name, drug use rises to the level of material in the process. Exposing drug use is one of the prime objectives in immigration inquiries. A lie on drug use would be enough to initiate a process that would eliminate Tejada’s green card and result in his deportation.

***The 7th letter? I thought it was the 18th letter? Anyways, Ra is one of the best to ever do it, IMO better than G-Rap, but that’s just my opinion, and not taking anything away from G-Rap….

word to life my homie was amazed that at the neighborhood pizzeria my daughter was like ‘Look daddy Jordan’ and it was a poster of Mike dunking from the freethrow line. I was like ‘Yo she needs to know the GOD’ and he was like ‘its crazy that she remembers’ I was like ‘show her a picture of his face she knows who he is’ ……..its all about the parents and brothers friends and the end of the day so people know the history of things

^^What up Joe! Point taken, but it’s not about placing blame on anyone for not knowing the history, but it’s the not being willing to listen that causes the problems. At some point you have to accept that you may not know it all, and just maybe some wisdom can be passed along. A muhfukka rarely admits to being wrong around these parts, if you haven’t noticed…LOL!

    ^^^^^^

You, Jamz, suffer from tunnel vision.

I listen to all of those artists too, but that isnt all hip-hop is to me. My scope is alot wider than that…Thats just one avenue…

Jeezy’s just as hip-hop as Little Brother IMO.

Aint no difference. Music is music.

And I think its you thats wrong…I think Jeezy’s on more rappers radars than you realize…

Word to him being Saigon’s favourite rapper…people couldnt believe it when he said that @ his show in LDN…

If you dont listen to Jeezy, I dont expect you to hear his influence in other people…

… Young Jeezy was the first EVER to dunk from the free throw line … Dr. J was named after Jeezy … the name Julius is the greek translation of the Latin root word Jeezee … which means in English: “to change the game” …

… Young Jeezy also invented Child Support …

^I noticed, sometimes I feel it’s good for me to be wrong, that’s means I learned something, for the people that never think there wrong are the people that’s not open minded (no shots)

    >>>Nahright.com…where debating is a disease and your honest opinion doesn’t mean shit! LOL

^lol, you aint never lied, it’s been week long debates on this site, lord knows how long the first Jay vs Nas debate went, atleast 2 months, you couldn’t even bring up ones name without either starting a riot, or getting a dog food > Nas News comment, or something of that nature, lol

Possibly. $5k though? Hmmm maybe so. I wouldn’t be too excited about a rakim concert. If you offered free tix to soulja boy or rakim I’d need 2 hours to think it over before declining both offers.

Now, I suffer from tunnel vision because I don’t keep Jeezy in my rotation? C’mon now RIGZ. I promise you that I have forgotten about more music then you’ve heard in your lifetime playboy…LOL!
