this dude at work tried to argue with me that LA is better than NY. after he regained conciousness (c)ven, i schooled him to the fact that NY everything LA has plus character. everything in LA is new and plastic and fake. everything LA is “starbucks-ized”. i think i even said NY has more swagger.

  17. Mark Twain Fame Says:

what was that song he was doin in the very beginning in the 1st video…

that version was dope with the guitar though…

Lupe has def stepped up his stage performace considerably…from F&L…

    blasphemy

    ^

black thought wishes he’s made a song lyrically as nice as “dumb it down” but alas n*ggaz — that shit ain’t easy

you have to be born with skills like that and while black thought is disgustingly nice, he lacks the minerals to go toe to toe with a lion ((c) q-tip) like lupe

    >Chea i usually agree on Lupe, but Black Thought is mad creative. Him and Andre are two niggas I can see doing a ‘Dumb it Down’-type song, and maybe doing even better at it.

3 stacks can go toe to toe with anyone, any time, any place – he is one of the best ever

it’s a matter of opinion, but i think 3 stacks and lu are one step above black thought

the other MCs in that top eschelon (there are not many) would be pun, em (in his prime), and maybe a couple others, but not many – there are only a select few who can shit on any MC at the drop of a hat and consistently murder tracks they rhyme on and embarass everyone else on the track

those are the elite cats and they know who they are and especially MCs know who they are
