nah but seriously dude got the craziest punchlines at the moment. I gotta be in the right mood to listen to his mood music albums, like long car trips and such, but the punchlines, story telling and the way he flows for days is unfucwitable

… I don’t try to force him on anyone, smh @ me holding a gun to someones head saying like Budden, I’m just saying people diss him and say he is a nobody with no talent when thats clearly not true, I can’t fault you if you don’t like his music there are plenty of rock bands I don’t like but I can respect their guitar playing ability thats all I am saying, and stop under exagerating there are waaay more than 20 budden fans on this site alone and I personally know more than 20 buddens stan, I usually avoid all budden convos no on here, but Plug mentioned that he is starting to realize dudes got some serious spit, he just needs more bass and better beats, and I won’t argue that but for people who like thought provoking lyrics about shit anyone and everyone can relate to there aren’t many better than joe, if you don’t fall into that category than k.i.m. how is that pushing him on anyone ?

and for the record 9& % of the rappers I listen to would fall under the same category, because they are all the same type of rappers but theres a whole shit load more of people like me than you think

    ^^^^^

Wow, I see you are a literalist. Meaning you took every point literally. What do you say to a literalist? Stop taking things so seriously? Appreciate something for what it is.

Can I break it down for you so you’ll get the gist of the meaning and the sum of its parts, rather than transliterating like a hebrew scribe?

20 fans meant= He has a low fanbase- That was the gist

Forcing him on someone= passionately willing someone to try to listen to his music and understanding him. Force does not always equal using a gun.

Force.— Doesn’t mean using a weapon of sorts. It can be used by coercion of others mean. But in the blog sense, I I never seen you, nor have I seen you with a gun, so how can your illustration be provided in that manner?

You took the definition of Force way too literal and even in your context you provided an example of force which is not all encompassing of the usage of the word.

With that being said Joe budden has a minute* fanbase. He is a good rapper, with skills but lacks certain elements to make it big time.

    * minute= small in size or volume, not the 60 second span.

Joe buddens is in my top 5 alive right now IMO….if you aint never ben through anything you probably won’t fuck with buddens….just my thoughts

” if you don’t feel what the pencil scripts /
than 8 times out of 10 you ain’t been through shit ” (c)

    but semi co-sign d-blocks comment

I agree top 5 and to a certain point I agree about if you haven’t been through or at least known someone who has been though the drug habit baby mama drama another man calling your son daddy ” his names dwyane so why the FUCK you calling him daddy ” but there are definitley people who have been through that shit that never want to be reminded of it ever again so the avoid it like the plague, Budden always says he’s music is therapy for him but IMO it’s therapy for people like him in some way or another as well, if you listen closely you can relate and often times he can give you a new way to look at something or more often than not he can find a way to paraphrase how you feel better than you can, it’s not like I listen to him like damn he just helped me get my life straight but he puts feelings into words like I never could

    ” saying jump-off don’t sound right /
    is blamphemous downright /
    I astound mics /
music is just what feelings sound like /
so even though when I do it it’s flames /
for awhile it felt like I was making music in vain /
we don’t view it the same /
I use it for change /
yall do it for change /
I do it for pain /
but keep doing you thing /
    soundscan skyrocket/
build all this hype bout it /
praying people might cop it /
this is just my logic /
    maybe it’s psychotic /
though labels try to stop it /
    it’s my anti-biotic ” (c) Budden

Joe Budden and Royce need to do a track together…

and don’t let Budden pick the beat……

… agreed hopefully a premo beat that would be classic IMO

Joe Buddens raps like his personal demons or dilemmas are superior to those of the listener, JUST MY OPINION TY. No Shots cuz Joey is a superior MC

    ^^^^
I dissagree i think buddens knows that the shit he goes through are thing most people in the world go through as well “is it wrong for me to wish i could get my cum back” (none)

He may be selfish cause he spits his own stories (but im sure some of them are stories he has heard from others) and in reality i aint in the club making it rain on some hoes so i would rather listen to someone talking about what i might be going through…. just like what 3000 said

Plus Im not sure his fan base is 20 something or minute but he is talked about alot on here and on the rest of the net (aint it ussually about the music) soo…. he must be doing something right…. i almost never here about alot of these so called rappers… I mean I like Saigon but ussually when he is talked about it is about the blog he wrote on his myspace page..

… I can see how you would say that, and he would probably agree, he always says his music is therapy for him he isn’t as concerned about sales, I just think he puts his all his heart, emotions ( good or well mostly bad ) and everything into his music but thats what i fuck with the most you know your getting a genuine product that means something to the rapper that comes across the track to me and I appreciate that but like Foe said some people listen to music ( especially rap ) as an escape of some sorts and thats cool to, do you

” so let me start doing what dudes like /
i’m in the booth feeling fresher than some new nikes /
and I cruise like cruise control /
FUCK THAT I can’t do it I might lose my soul /
even though it might help a nigga to his goal /
it would defeat the whole purpose /
naw that ain’t what Jerz is /
naw that would be worthless /
    bars sounding nervous /
a nigga much deeper than what you see on the surface /
I’d rather resort back to snatching purses /
I’m finally understanding what the gift and the curse is /
If I was more concerned about a purchase /
I’d tell yall it’s about to go down like bird shit

Shout to him for still supplying us for this week, hopefully there will be a Juan Epstein episode even though him and Ciph must be busy as hell. […]
