bay bay– they were bad.. but if you go just looking for fun and gore and things not making all that much sense.. its fun. it was fun in the theater, that whole group reaction thing making it even better

****That’s exactly the dynamic Tarantino and Rodriguez were going for- Planet Terror was over the top bad, though, but I liked it better than “Death Proof”- Death Proof wasn’t good, until like the last 20 minutes, but it’s 2 hrs long- WTF? except for the transition between Texas and Alabama, or wherever the second act took place, it was like 95% bad convo…the second half was better than the first, though, because of Rosario Dawson…Planet Terror was so over- the- top campy, you had no choice but to enjoy it….Bruce Willis: “I got you by the balls” (none) “yep, you do” LMFAO….

***@ MTF- in my version of heaven, it’s nothing but Rosario Dawson, Sidney Portier’s daughters, and Quincy Jones’ daughters, bucky nekkid next to a buffet table loaded with buffalo wings and hennessy, lol….

good feedback ty.. id been curious about it, but was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype. like that “there will be blood” joint.. i heard that was a let down as well

…. yeah and maybe after hearing/seeing someone talk about it like me and Ike it will make it better as it lowers expectations, it’s just sometimes I see a movie everyone loved and I can understand why they liked it I just didn’t like it myself, this time I was at a loss for words….

@Ty- no its all good, you aint ruin it all good, but I feel ya. I didnt like Fargo but I do like me soem Coen movies…they jsut weird strange random joints ya know.

@Venny – naw I liked that doomsday flick, me and the gal saw it last weekend, it was interesting…I liked it slighty corny at times but no biggie, and the chick had a nice body on her ha. That shutter looks like the Ring part 5, all them joints have the same vibe to them…nasty corspes, dripping wet dead broads, dead blue children…yada yada to me. I was laughign the whole time I saw the ring, while all these people wnet with me are lookin at me like im crazy casue they cringing and shutting thier eyes. Im weird like that.

@b-ease – Oh Brother is the blicka mayne!…love that movie.

Bol’s a habitual line stepper…I usually check out his column, and sometimes he has me dying, but sometimes duke needs to STFU…seriously

On the one hand, I’m sure it would be weird to have one of your kids die and not show up to the funeral. I probably would’ve shown up myself just to keep up appearances. Lord knows the last thing I need is for people to get the wrong idea about me. But on the other hand, I’m sure it’s hard to say exactly how you’d feel if you were in that situation.

Most likely, Juvenile didn’t have very much in the way of interaction with the poor bastard, other than when he sat down each month and wrote its mother a check for some ridonkulous sum. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if, when he heard the news, his first thought was, “Wow, as bad as it is, it’s gonna save me a shiteload of money.”

…. I used to be a big Will Ferrell fan, I mean IMO Old School and Anchorman are classic with Talledega Nights trailing behind, not classic but still high replay value hilarity but god good have i lost interest in anything he does ( I actually fucked with that stranger than Fiction movie too ) it seems like they have run out of jokes for him and as Bill Simmons put it it’s like they just play madlibs with movie ideas

” Any studio exec could buy 300 index cards, write one word or phrase on each (either a sport, plot, scenario, famous star or another movie to rip off), stick the cards in a jar, shake it, pull out four cards and—presto!—instant sports movie. In fact, I’m convinced this is how Semi-Pro got made. Ferrell … hoops … slapstick … ’70s. ” (c) Bill Simmons

Erik recently shared word that the mega-fantastic movie-maker Clint Eastwood now has TWO separate movies being prepared for release later this year: a kidnapping thriller called Changeling — and the recently-announced Gran Torino, which WB seems to be keeping a pretty tight lid on. But according to one source, Gran Torino may very well be the sixth entry in the Dirty Harry series, which began in 1971 with (of course) Dirty Harry, and continued on with Magnum Force (1973), The Enforcer (1976), Sudden Impact (1983), and The Dead Pool (1988).

So who spilled the potential beans on this project? Some guy who was looking to sell his old Gran Torino on Cragislist! According to IESB.net, someone from Village Roadshow came by to look at the car, but didn’t want it for one reason or another. And then apparently this guy from the production company added this: “He said [the project] was a thriller about a killer that drives a certain torino. His 1972 Ford Gran Torino is the only thing the police have on him. A retired police lieutenant, one Harry Callahan, makes it his mission to track down the culprit when two young police officers, one Callahan’s grandson, are shot and killed by the guy.”

sticking to the subject of the original post….

one of the better efforts of maths+english by dizzee, the album version of this has a pimp c (r.i.p.) verse, and the video had been filmed before his passing, so I’m guessing his removal from the track is out of respect maybe?

whats the opinion of Dizzee stateside? altho he’s not the best the UK has to offer he’s certainly one of the success stories in terms of actual sales and airplay. Boy in da Corner was a classic!

  82. G-Harp The Producer Says:

That was a total bullshit move pulling Pimp C’s verse from the video.
