i’ve said it before, that’s the problem with our community. nobody wants to play their position, earn a decent salary, and feed their fucking kids. for every oprah or camel, there’s 100,000 of us not doing shit but losing. everybody can’t be a entreprenuer, but everybody tries to be, because of this dumb-ass mentality. no shot whatsoever to you, just saying.

    ^^^^^

    Of course.

    For example:

If Jay signed me 2moro, half the people who complain about my accent would forget the shit even exists. They’d TRY to understand my dopeness because someone they respect understands my dopeness.

Its shamefully sheep-like, but it happens everyday.

    Another example:

If Two-Times (Whaddup!) said he found the greatest rapper alive & he’s signed to G-Unit, people wouldnt give him his full props just because he’s been recommended by Two-Times.

    Dumb, but true.

The most potent elegant ether I have seen in my life….This is what real ether is…Ether is neither bold nor fiery…

I dont think people really understand the effects of ether or what ether really is…Ether is used fragrances and anesthesia and other things that appeals to the senses….Ether is colorless and you cant see it…

The stuff that they put in you to go to sleep, when performing surgery is anathesia which has ether in it….I think this is the Ether that Nas was referring to when he said: “make your soul burn slow”…..Meaning that what he is going to hit you with, cannot be seen nor heard, but you shall surely die and have a slow thoughtful death….

    yeah i believe that’s true

50 woulda never sold 10 million back to back without being heavly associated with Eminmen (and Dre, but not as much)… 50 woulda probably sold 1 milion and been a platinum artist, still been succesfull business wise, but no way would he got that many fans..atleast i don’t think so

50 inheirted millions of Eminmem fans, but at the same time he came out with a different style, and made his own mark and established himself as his own artist independent of Em & Dre… so 50 gets alot of credit in that aspect…

none of his commerical singles/hits have featured Em and Dre…

  56. Two-Times Says:

nowadays fans like artists based on who they roll with, who they associate with, what crew/label they in……. it’s not really a good thing, but thats how it is…

    Word to Lloyd Banks

  58. Boosie Says:

Who can 50 eat off of?

Em and Dre do not have to make another record again as long as 50 cent is making music…Their percentagae share is able to collect interest and eat off the music that 50 puts out…

This is why I was saying, that 50 needs to can G-unit and start searching for some talent…because 50’s crew is not sustainable for him to parlay and eat…

This is the reason why Diddy had to go the R&B route, because r&B is the only one thats selling….All those making the band 4 cats is getting pimped…Diddy is putting them in a high price place where he pays the rent but prolly puts that money in the budget where he is payed back….and these cats think they are living the good life…

That making the band 4 group might be able to release two albums only to find themselves in debt to diddy…shits disgusting b.

  59. Two-Times Says:

    @ RIGZ

there not that many disses toward JOe on the new G-Unit mixtape. There’s a couple of skits, and one-liners, but all and all, it’s just good music…
gotta all time of different tracks on there, not just 1 angle…
that “lifetime achievement” track 50 speaks on some real shit…

so far from the tracks I’ve heard(about 1/2 of it) it’s been vintage G-Unit the only complaints I’d make is that 50 using the vocodor gets annoying and Banks voice sounds weird

    >>This is why I was saying, that 50 needs to can G-unit and start searching for some talent…because 50’s crew is not sustainable for him to parlay and eat…

^co-sign. the current crew is doing nothing for him. banks, yayo….etc will never put up the numbers they were back in 04/05. r&b is the way to go, even country…lol

Yayo & Banks are G-Unit for life… If you can’t understand that, then you just don’t understand the concept of a crew…There taken care of for life, finacially…

and i also think 50 will find the NEXT 50 Cent….
if you smart enough to understand what im sayin

  63. E AKA THE REAL NORIEAGA Says:

I think Buck sold enough for 50 to profit off of but I bet Banks and Yayo probably weren’t investing in, but then again Banks and Yayo were partially responsible for building up the gunit brand

  64. g7 Says:

    >>And I heard 50 converting all his millions to Euro’s just to cake even more…lol!

^LOL! where do you hear this stuff?

  65. Boosie Says:

I dont think rap will be able to sustain itself throughout time…It’s a relatively new phenomenon of soundmaking and speech patterns, and its focus is always on the present…I’m just not sure if it has staying power…We make fun of old rappers and no one wants to hear a 60 year old rapper, because it’s cringe worthy…..

We gotta cultivate rap to where its sustainable, and possess a long life form…so far right now Jay-z is only able to do that…The content is a barrier for its sustainability also…Imagine a 50-60 year old uncle murder talking about “bullet bullet”.

SAS are cool…They been making moves in the US for a minute now, since around 2000.

You probably seen them on Dame’s MTV cribs episode. They was gonna sign to Rocafella / Diplomats, but you already know what happened there…

I’m shocked there back in America though. Last I heard their business was fucked because they was Wanted by feds in the US, and couldnt go over there without being immediately arrested. Their cases must of been dropped or suttin.

    __________________________________________________________

True 50 doesnt need to eat off rappers cause he has vitamin money water and its not 400 million that everyone claimed it to be…He got a percentage of the amount that coca-cola bought it for….Some economist noted that in an article and on CNBC….

I understand the concept of a crew, but I dont understand the concept of another man taking care of another man financially for life…

It’s really hard for Ex players to find and breed talent…Most musicians dont make the best businessmen as running day to day operations or overseeing projects…They are better off at silent partnering…So I dont know if 50 will find the next 50 ,he might, but I will say that Jimmy Iovine will find the next 50 before 50…..Kevin Liles or Lyor Cohen or Steve stoute will find the next 50 before the next 50

In the Mafia, they do it all time..

As far as the Vitamin water money…it’s between 100-400 million… fuck that CNBC anyalst fuck boy…

As far as Jimmy Iovine finding the new 50 Cent, I doubt it… Iovine never discovered Dr Dre, Em, or even 50…. he might have bankrolled, but never found them ..
and now that’ 50 has enough money to not be dependent of Iovione, he don’t even need to look at him for nothing..

As soon as 50 finds the new 50 Cent, it’s a wrap, 50 will fund him with his own money, and start cakin..big time

So with that Im sure 50 will find the new 50 Cent, before Jimmy Iovine do, or even Lyor Cohen, or Kevin Liles, for that matter….. but I guess will see…

The thing is all those executives are the bankroll….and 50 put himself in a finacial position where he won’t have to look to them to fund anything he wants finanically…

If they play there role, then I don’t see no problems with it..

Just wait until 50 leaves Interscope, things are gonna change…big time….
    ____________________________________________________________

Well It wasnt some regular CNBC fuck boy it was an inside source that knew all the business dealings…It might of been on power lunch or something like that…where they talk about real business dealings and stocks, and company mergers…

Well isnt 50 just another bankroll?…..and how do you classify finding someone?….Iovine sends goon and pays people to find talent…

Iovine and Lyor will find the next Big Music star before 50…If 50 just focuses on rap he loses…Iovine and Lyor run an all encompassing music business….shit, they probably more focused on finding the next nsync or alica keyes…

50 cent only deals with rappers and has been in the music game for a short period of time….So based on these facts I cannot conclude he will find the next 50 cent….After all No huge rap star never found anyone as big as them…

Dre never found another dre….Em never found another Em….50 rolled with him off his popularity but that was a business move made by Iovine to link 50 with Em…to steam roll in the funds..

Funny you say that…Cos Hollow Man’s ends & my ends have been at war for a LOOOOOOONNNNNG time, but his music gets bumped in my borough. Thats how I know his buzz is serious (on a road level anyway).

LDN is different in South, East, West & North. Whats hot one place may not be as hot in others. But I know he’s seriously burning up South…He’s definently KNOWN all over LDN, but i dont know if he has the same kinda heat (if that makes sense).

he could turn the tens of millions he’s got into hundreds of millions — that’s not a problem for someone like fif. stocks, PE funds, hedge funds, real estate, equities, etc. — he doesn’t have to worry about money.

so why the beef? why the mixtapes glorifying the bullshit? yes other rappers do the same shit, but why doesn’t he grow the fuck up and rise up and be a better person and set a fucking new example? simple. he’s just not a good dude. he’s one of those cats who wants to keep being a motherfucker rather than a leader and a legend. My thoughts on Regional Music:

    2nd line dance music>go-go> zydeco>screw music>New orleans>Bmore club

Bmore club music, is trash….that shit sounds like a sped up tetris game…

New orleans bounce is trash…every beat sounds the same, the only thing good is hoes is shaking they asses ALL the time throughout the music…

Go-go= Festival music, with the drum and reggae sounds…Its pretty good

Zydeco= decent, polka and jazz mixed with blue grass…It has a good mix, and good sound….kind of look gumbo…kids through adults can enjoy it….

Screw music= It’s alright for somethings but damn, I feel like I’m in a motherfucking haunted house and trance if I listen to it too long..

    Hyphy= clown music
    Crunk= played out…

2nd line dancing=…Illest music in the world….The live instrumentation and the tuba keeping the beat steady is crazy…ANYBODY can get down to this music….ranges across all races, ages and creed…

Chicago stepping=cool, but Im not practicing some dance steps just so I can do it at the club….too much work….I just wanna feel on some booty..

If there is other regional music let me know.

  181. Boosie Says:

Forgot to mention that 2nd line dancing= A live waltz/jazz band with an upbeat tempo, that walks down the street and anyone can join….Like a your schools marching band but not as uniform and a whole lot better, and you can march/step on the field with them

  190. Boosie Says:

Bhangra= Different but cool…..The drum pattern is a medium to high speed uptempo, with the use of bongo type drums and alladin music…Some of the variations invoke different moods but the pattern is relativity the same…

Definitely better than Bmore club, but it matches its intesity as far us the upbeat tempo….The dance moves are similar to michael jackson 80’s dances, though I did see them doing a souljah boy move, in a more military type of way….Dance moves are like the Praise n worship dances that you might catch at baptist church…(I dont attend baptist churches)

Any more regional or different types of music please let me know so I can research it, enjoy it and discover…..thanks

Hollow Man is dope Rigga no doubt but regardless of which endz you rep in my opinion K-Lash aka 47 Spray is definitely one of the most talented UK artists out right now and the fact that he can make a cohesive album (Lionheart) with crazy mixtapes (Focus Mode) on the side makes him a brother to check for in my opinion. I reckon he’d do alright in the US.
