damn i heard that rick ross album yesterday, shit is offical, suprised me, i think ima go back and peep the last album he dropped, that was his first right? with the everyday im hustling

    ^^^^^

Yeah Rick Ross’ first LP was crazy nice…Alot of people **Looks at Nahrightians** shit on Ross without even listening to his shit…I personally like Rick Ross [II]

Rick Ross can spit. He’s like a more lyrical Jeezy, with less swagger & adlibs…

  9. Digital scales Says:

im still mad saigon didnt get a post for the full version of ”who can get busy” feat grand puba

    Young Dro > Rick Ross

That line was from “Shoulder Lean” a club banger, not really a song i’d let someone hear if they never heard him. His album was pretty good, “hear me cry” is one of his better songs, check it out.

Now this is a wack line

Cars sit on 22’s, blah blah blah 22’s, blah blah blah 22’s, we in room 2 22 – Rawwwws

But it’s from a club song so I can’t hate on it, I danced to it (pause)

I dunno…I cant really cosign that.

I feel Rick Ross’ music. Straight up.

what difference does it make? it got posted in Lite and 70 other bloggers gave it it’s own post.

Dro is light years beyond Ross, let’s be serious.

@ Eskay- how would you rank Dro, against Rich Boy, though? (none_

  18. Joe 88 Says:

    oh yeah

    Jeezy > Ross

Maybe because i’m just not a fan of ross, I hate his flow, his voice is annoying & he’s was wack on every remix I heard him on last year. Now Jeezy, Jeezy? Jeezy has really stepped his game up since he came out, his flow is crazy, his adlibs makes you get into his songs, you know you be waiting for that “G’eah” or “Yeeeeeaaaaaah” every jeezy verse & he place em in the right spots (pause). Truthfully Jeezy hasn’t been outshined on any song I ever heard him on

I’m so hood remix = Jeezy had the best verse & he rap 1st

Top Back remix = he had the best verse & he rap 1st on that too

5000 ones = T.I Killed it, but Jeezy still rocked

Dey know remix = Jeezy all the way

Hood nigga remix = Jeezy, then shawty lo, then wayne

White girl remix = Jeezy had the best verse, & fab & ross was on the song, I actually skip the song after Jeezy & wayne rap

***Let’s Get This Paper, or whatever it was called, is on point…I mean, SpotOn, lol…I haven’t heard either album, but right now, I’m trying to branch out from my typical music purchases, by sampling hip hop from outside of the typical east coast channels…I really like what i’ve heard from Dro, though…

  26. eskay Says:

Dro is definitely better than Rich Boy lyrically. I loved Rich’s album, but alot of that had to do with Polow’s production. Not that Rich can’t rhyme, he’s just not the most advanced lyricist.

***Word…I really feel like he’s genuine in his expressed desire to throw some D’s on that bitch…his disdain for conventional factory rims constantly bubbles under the surface of that track, almost hauntingly so, and his desire to aquire said rims is palapable, even tangible, to a point…the message conveyed in his mantra is a time tested and proven one, and the urgency and convinction behind his delivery of this verbal treasure is remarkable…
