Kanye West x Reebok S.Carters

The Yeezy themed version of the ‘Big Brothers.’ I’m surprised Kanye even signed off on these (if he did), they look sort of run-of-the-mill for his taste.

  8. RIGZ Says:

    These are straight disgusting.

Kanye shoulda buried THESE in the Flashing Lights video.

Maybe THIS is why that big tittied chick bodied him. She thought she had a fly breddah, till she saw THESE creps in the wardrobe…

If I see a Ye stan wearing these in London, I’m slapping him off of General Principle.

  9. Joe 88 Says:

Yo, those shoes are fucking bananas, when are they coming out? I can imagine what I would rock with them already, either a fly american eagle/hollister shirt/3 button, some straight leg designer jeans, & a ill fitted. The bear on the back makes them ill also

  10. Ghost Writer Says:

I wouldn’t clean the yard in these kicks…….

so Reebok is a streetwear brand now?

    ^^

no but the s. carter division is arguably a “street brand” just like the SB division of nike is a “street brand”

obviously not the same DIY cache that a brand like thehundreds has, but brands like thehundreds have become so big and played (and stupid looking) and the line has become blurred in the first place

i mean, is bape a streetwear brand? shit is bigger than mcdonalds

  12. Joe 88 Says:

Wow, I see alto of people don’t fuck wit em, I think there tuff, I bet Billz would like em. Fuck a shirt/3 button, i’ma rock a mean tan V-neck sweater wit the green collar collar shirt under it, yeah that’s sounds hot.

Why do we need to know that?……lol

  21. Joe 88 Says:

These shoes are hardbody off the strength there a step away from the norm, most niggas wear the same colors black/navy blue/red/brown etc, you gotta switch it up sometimes. Niggas can’t be hard all the time

I know niggas that wake up hard (pause), for no reason, like it’s 7:30 in the morning nigga you gangbanging on bacon?

ja rule, fabolous, and jermaine dupri need to do a joint together on some “Kings of Korniness” shit

Ja’s corny? Okay he has his moments, but not as corny as those other 2 dudes, fab use to wear bandanas over his fitted, & napkins as headbands (jada style) & he got a half gold, half platinum chain, now that’s corny, no need to speak on Mr Dupri, but I just don’t see how Ja is corny, he has some classic material

  27. chea Says:

the polo bear is indeed quite dope, i remember copping T’s and rugbies in college with the bear on it, shit was terrific to be specific (c) fux

  28. b-ease Says:

    alicia keys > rita g

    Hmmmm…interesting.

I admit, the way she’s been looking since the promo began of this last album has made me completely overlook the fact that she eats more box on the low than remy, which i could never do before

But Rita G is also incredible.

    I gotta think on this…

    Best SELLING album?

I dont think Jay can EVER top Reasonable Doubt. Vol 2 was a nice LP though. Very underrated.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    Best selling AND best.

Reasonable Doubt is a fantastic album that only became the “masterpiece” it is now considered when Hov became a rap deity.

Hard Knock life was the purest and most adulterated version of the Jay we know today. A week Ago? Coming of Age pt. 2? RESOVOIR DOGS? Because of its success (and Can I get a) this was unfairly tagged as Jay’s commercial joint. Naw. If I should Die? Let’s Ride (hiliariously scathing Mase diss, BEST subliminal diss in hiphop after Long Kiss). Hip-hop’s true thriller. Every song knocked, and Jay spit over everyone like it was his first album, which when compared sonically to RD and Vol.1 it really was.

And yes, Cormega is THAT nigga.

  31. chea Says:

ja actually had some joints early on but when he put on the varsity letter cardigan and sang in the county fair on some “grease” shit in that one video he did his-self in

  32. Joe 88 Says:

The Polo bear > The Kanye bear

    ^Oh of course.

  33. Phuque Says:

No one liking these = me copping some

Nah, I got a pair of Gucci sneaks this colour. They’re nice, & not not just because they’re Gucci either. The tan is darker on the Gucci creps though.

These shits is ugly. But I never fucked with S.Dots in the first place. NO ONE over here does

    ^^

    wrong

i copped the day it came out and within 3 days knew it was a classic

only people who ain’t been into hip-hop a long time (i’m not saying that’s you, i’m just making an observation) have trouble seeing that it was a classic at birth

  39. RIGZ Says:

Reasonable Doubt is a fantastic album that only became the “masterpiece” it is now considered when Hov became a rap deity.

    Nosign.

I aint stopped playing Reasonable Doubt since 96. Literally.

  40. yeah me 2 Says:

You can kick ya lil lies, I’ll spit my real facts/
like you sneaking out the back of the Source Sound Lab/
We wasnt chasing you, we had a tapping to/
    It wasnt a Roc-A-Fella come thru thing/
Cuz if it was on like that I would come thru Queens

  41. b-ease Says:

    ^^^^^^^^

Fair enough. musically I’d call ’em even on a pure visceral enjoyment level. But Hard Knock’s impact at the time and even now mean : Hard Knock Life > Reasonable Doubt.

  42. Joe 88 Says:

Why do we need to know that?……lol

^Fall back *Continues to put Jay-Z/Linkin Park on Ipod*

Hard knock life is a classic, don’t get me wrong, & you have a valid point about the songs & how it was viewed because of it’s sucess, but the beats on RD are way better than Vol.2, truth be told, the beats on RD are timeless, the honesty in that album, the vibe it gave you are priceless, while Vol.2 lyrically is some of his best, but the beats are too late 90 ish, money cash hoes beat was the shit back then, but now it’s just sounds like a bunch of noise, money aint a thang gets on my nerves off the strength of dupri being on it, but other than that, it’s great.

  43. b-ease Says:

    Neither have I. Literally.

  44. b-ease Says:

    to Joe88 :

y’know it’s funny you brought up Money Cash Hoes, cause I was listening to it the other day and thought the exact opposite. I was like, “Man, this shouldnt still knock. But it does!” Different strokes for different folks (pause).

    true story

  46. young global Says:

I thought the S. Carters where dead in the water….lol! Hov don’t even be rocking dem……

  47. game over Says:

they look alright. most shoe designs suck nowadays anyway. compared to the competition, these are still a 6 outta 10.

  48. khal Says:

i don’t normally wear kicks with all kinds of color in them these days, but i like these actually. hell, these beat the patent leather versions.

  49. Joe Turksta Says:

I’m surprised Kanye ain’t got some Louis Vuiton Backpack series goin on or some shit. Them shoes are crap. Shoulda done a deal with Nike for some Jordan 23’s in some Kanye colourway or some shit.

  50. Mr.Londoner Says:

i remember when kanye said “it’s easy for me to just put a bear on some clothing and make tons of money. but i won’t do that.

now i am not too interested in his Pastel label.. do rbk’s even have different designs, from s.dots to ice creams, they all look incredibly similar.

for the record, the kanye bapes are 1000000000x better.

  51. dCs Says:

they coulda really done somethin with these s dots. i used to fucks with s dots, when they were original. they have the same design with new colors every season, like they tryin to be air forces or some shit.

i gotta say though, those s dots are comfortable as a motherfucker
