and also…. SMH at Everyone who hasn’t heard her First CD and jumped on the wagon with songs like Rehab….and call it soul. Ella Fitzgerald and Norah jones top Rehab.
^^^You cant bring the REAL old time singers into the equation, they birthed the whole thing. I dont know about Norah Jones though, shes good but I dont see it…I guess we getting into personal taste territory.

Keyshia Cole is overrated…
She is dope… very dope, but she can’t shake a stick at Alicia Keys.
nope, i’m not even having that dbate
Keyshia cole got more of a ghetto soul r&b sound, but I wouldnt neccessarily define her music as soul….Alicia keyes makes soulful songs, and has more of a soulful voice.
BUT…I think Keyshia Cole can sing and Sang better if given the right type of song….But I like Alicia Keyes music better, but she only has about 3 octaves that she can sing.
As far as who would I smash first, would be Keyshia cole, cause she seems more womanly and more like a freak…..Alicia keyes is a true dime piece but her mannish presence, sometimes turns me off….She seems like she is more into women than Men anyway.
Phil Spector’s office? Nigga u 13 years old…lol. what’chu know about Phil Spector’s office…
***LOL, not I….nigga, I’m 30 plus (c) Hov…plus, I grew up on soul music from the 60s and 70s, courtesy of pops being a collector…I really wish that we could have a creative resurgence/renaissance of music, to back when R&B was good enough to stand alone, and artists didn’t have to rely on collabos with halfassed (no prince pants) mcs..m’fukkin Jaheim featuring Bizarre, and shit, lol….R. Kelly’s aiight, but it’s a damned shame that he’s considered by most to be the best doing it- dude is decent, at best…true, he’s got a catalog, but come the fuck on, lol…Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder- those are the cats who have stood the test of time in the soul game…saying shit like that is just an affirmation that 1) I’m getting old, and 2) you don’t know nothing bout dat dare boy!!!
Latoya Williams (the chick that did the hook on the DOggy’s Angels joint, Jay-Z’s All Around the World” and a duet with Anthony Hamilton) is one of the illest voices in R&B and I stand on it. I just can’t find a CD on the bitch. I cam’t even Limewire her.
