like dude R.A., I havent heard alot form him, but he is dope with the lyrics. def got the wigga style on lock but anyways, still I dont feel him saying that you gotta be underground and not sell over alot of albums, and not have alot of people at your concerts, and be NY grimey 909’s style (like how his persona and how he is) to be hip hop and be a true head…if thats like that then I say over half the people in hip hop, mc’s, producers, business associates, label people, writers, vidoe directors, etc etc are not hip hop and dont understand and know it.

that’s something I’ve actually been thinking about for a minute. even before I had Nah Right, people would always tell me that I should be on radio with my “fakely deep” voice and what not. or maybe I’ll do a Juan Epstein like podcast or something. then there’s this site that lets you do online radio show and gives you a number so people can call up live. santa barbara doesnt even have a scene mayne. this place is whitebread central. we get hiero, quaanum, and wu poppin through. thats about it. i had my daughter though so i would rather hang with her than go out and spend too much money on a show i have already see, you know?

My homie went to a Murs in-store at Access hip-hop in PB two weekends ago, he said that shit was off the hook. It was open to questions and he went into full detail about Murs for President. He went on and on about how most LA rappers are scared of SD, and how Primo charges 25 g’s for a beat, 12 up front, and if you aren’t feeling the beat (who wouldn’t though…) he keeps the cash and you’re assed out.

do you know why calls his building the usa building…and he mentions the Iraq building..Kuwait ect??????

    ^^
    From my understanding:

Iraq = Lefrak City (USA building is his block)
    Kuwait = Queensbridge

    So on & so forth..I think BK = Lebanon…

  114. I Fux Says:

whip you with a strap is fucking classic shit …………. and no way NAS sucks

  115. I Fux Says:

“The fraudulent video hoax that has surfaced of an alleged female lover of Remy Ma is completely false and reps for Remy Ma emphatically deny these claims. The staged video and storyline, as well as the voice on the phone posing as Remy are all fictitious and have made it very obvious that this is a deliberate attempt to undermine Remy’s name and character. Remy Ma has not nor has she ever been involved in a same sex relationship with the accuser or any other woman however Remy is respectful of those who choose the alternative lifestyle. Again, this video and claim are both 100% untrue and we hope that the involved accusers are aware of the civil liberties violated in the taping of this video.”

  116. rex hussla Says:

yo I was thinking the same about that MOP track, that’s a tease right there…that’s a slept on album right there though, Termanology and Reks hold it down when the big dogs aren’t guest starring…

  117. rex hussla Says:

    There’s Something About Remy(‘s Hairstyle)

  118. I Fux Says:

when Randy from the Wire was sitting bloody and yelling at the cop walking down the corridor “you got my back hunh, you aint going to let anything happen to me……” thats some incredible television right there

  119. That Man Says:

Blacksun came through on that one over Dilla’s beat for Ghost.

    ^^ LMAO…. where did that come from?.lol

  121. I Fux Says:

I bet if MOP dropped an album it would be certified classic shit……anything they have jumped on the past few years as guests, immediately hits to the top of any playlist i fux with

  122. I Fux Says:

LMAO…. where did that come from?.lol

^^ Ive been watching the season all week to get my mind right on the WIRE which is only a couple weeks away

  123. Digital scales Says:

Nah riggz lefrak city is in corona queens where lefrak housing is…..each building is sectioned off by flags and names of countries, theres almost 100 buildings out there…..btw Queensbridge is the biggest housing project in the usa….over a huned

  124. Two-Times Says:

    @ I FUX

Ive been watching the season all week to get my mind right on the WIRE which is only a couple weeks away

^^^ you got it on dvd?…i didn’t know that season is out…
And when does it start back up?…in mid-jan right?

  125. I Fux Says:

Jan 6th it starts back up …….no I’ve been watching on HBO ondemand

  126. EnglandRepresent Says:

I gotta admit that Melvyn Flint joint by NORE is fuckin horrible. Fuckin. Horrible. Dude was nice in War Report but other than that I don’t rate him.

    What up though Nahggers?

  127. rex hussla Says:

I know man why can’t Curtis give MOP some shine? Not even a feature? A hook? A remix? All their features are fire…that’s the energy G-Unit music lacks these days imo, bring some rawness to the table. People are starving for some real “aggressive content”

  128. Two-Times Says:

    I Fux Says:

    >>Jan 6th it starts back up …….no I’ve been watching on HBO ondemand

^^ did you see the full trailer for the new season…i saw it posted somewhere else…

  129. I Fux Says:

Erep you need to get NORE the album for real ……..*daps the englishmen*

  130. RIGZ Says:

    @ Digi:

I only know what Nore says in interviews. HE said:

Lefrak City = Iraq. And The USA buildin was where him & Iman Thug lived.

    He said Kuwait = QB.

That was meant to be the whole concept of The War Report.

Shit. It all makes sense now Im sayin it…

  131. I Fux Says:

Rex I saw Pharoah Monche with MOP at the 4th and b, a couple of years ago…….MOP killed that shit

  132. Two-Times Says:

MOP was on the GRODT soundtrack…they had that banger with 50 on the chrous…

and they been on g-unit radio mixtapes too..

but yeah i don’t know what’s up with them…. maybe it’s Interscopes fault… I don’t think Interscope is just gonna put out projects cause 50 says so anymore…

  133. thoreauly77 Says:

    *listening to 92 scenario remix*

ah, yes. what the hell happened to busta bus?

  134. thoreauly77 Says:

mop put out a rap/rock joint last year and fames been on his production grind pretty tough.

  135. EnglandRepresent Says:

  136. I Fux Says:

Ok boys Im out this bitch! catch ya’ll later
*leaves with listen to my demo playing the back*

  137. blaze22 Says:

Yo ya’ll seen that video of DMX in the studio all coked up? Shit is ridiculous

  138. Two-Times Says:

    >>Wu-Tang’s controversial comeback disc, 8 Diagrams, is projected to move 45,700 discs,

^^ 45k divided by 19 members….wow….and RZA is hatin on 50’s money…smh…they should worry about themsleves….it’s funny how RZA wants to talk down on 50 a week before the Wu album drops… smh…what kinda of shit is that… he coulda said that shit 2 years ago when 50 dropped Candy Shop…smh @ RZA jealous logic…

    >>while Beanie Sigel’s The Solution is estimated to move 38,900 CDs.

^^that sucks for Beans… I guess he had already figured that out, when he was up there at hot97…

Why doesn’t Jay do another Roc mic tour…get some of the roc boys out there across the country, put some money in there pockets…like beans, Free, young chris, bleek, tru…and have him and Kanye headline…

  139. RIGZ Says:

Why doesn’t Jay do another Roc mic tour

    ^^

    Because Jay doesnt care…

Ghostface aint even got a video yet. SMH.

  140. rex hussla Says:

Damn…I lost on that show. I skip shows at the 4th & B, I’ve had too many dope shows wasted by their wack-as-fuck soundsystem (DJ Quik, Rae & Ghost, Slum Village etc. etc. etc.)

  141. Two-Times Says:

It’s going to be a loss for Hov when Budden’s MM3 sales more than these recent Roc-a-fella releases…

could you believe if MM3 sold like 50-75k or something like that…. that’d be crazy.. and a big W for Budden

  142. RIGZ Says:

    Aight I’m gone.

    Peace to the board!

  143. thoreauly77 Says:

its more likely ghost didnt do a video by his damn self because he doesnt want its budget to come out of his budget. he prolly figured it would sell the same either way.

    *daps Thor, Two and Rigatoni*

Ay Rigzy, you see that the Yids got a decent win away against City in the Carling Cup? Looks like we could be playin you in the Semis again….

  148. rex hussla Says:

Wu-tang only had 45,000?!?! Damn, I think the general buying public has given up on purchasing hip-hop albums since the Kanye/50 fiasco. Only Jay has had decent numbers since then…

  149. thoreauly77 Says:

that get a bar post was a good read.

  150. JOFFE JO Says:

Rick ross’ chain is ugly as hell but I know that shit cost a pretty penny

thanks. it seems pretty clear that p-tone is kinda tight with his money. he uses tons of no-name producers or underground cats like doom so his overhead isnt as high. its a damn good thing he has such a brilliant ear for beats!

  154. thoreauly77 Says:

^^ true… I seen alot of older artists do that… Cam’ron started doing that too, after he left the Roc…

some rappers are just like”fuck it, i’ll cut my losses and take what I can get” rather put more money behind the project and try and end up failing and losing alot of money…

  158. thoreauly77 Says:

just imagine the kind of money he has. i respect that he doesnt really talk about it as much as some rappers and at least when he does he has flavor. i mean, he co-produced every wu record as well as his own ghost projects you know? and when he does show off his jewelry its something ridiculous like a goddamn arm-eagle and frisbee sized necklace! the guy is hilarious!

  159. EnglandRepresent Says:

had a couple 22’s of the stella for good measure last night at the pub.

^^What’s a 22? Tell me you weren’t drink your Stella outta the barrell of a rifle? Cos that would be impeccable hardness if you did…

Damn i mean Gangster No. 1….pardon me chap

  167. EnglandRepresent Says:

22 ounces glasses of stella erep.

^^How big is that in real terms though? Is that about a pint? If so good work Thor. I was drinkin Stella whilst watchin a film with me chick last night. Went to see ‘Into The Wild’. Fucking amazing film, I encourage everyone to go and see it. It’s not your normal run of the mill US blockbuster type films though. Requires a bit of brain activity whilst watching it. Thoroughly recommended by me though.

  168. thoreauly77 Says:

a pint is 16 ounces, so thats a bit more than a pint. your average can of soda is 12 ounces, so nearly double that and you got it. couple of those and a shot of don julio silver got me started and kept me going for a bit. into the wild sounds good — sean penn directing cant hurt and the kid in the movie was fantastic in a flick called “the dangerous lives of altar boys” from a few years back.

  169. green eyes Says:

a pint is 16 ounces, so thats a bit more than a pint. your average can of soda is 12 ounces, so nearly double that and you got it.

^^Yeah but there’s a difference between a pint in the US and a pint in the UK isn’t there? I thought the UK ones were bigger? Maybe I’m just talkin bollocks.

into the wild sounds good — sean penn directing cant hurt and the kid in the movie was fantastic in a flick called “the dangerous lives of altar boys” from a few years back.

^^The kid was fucking amazing in Into The Wild. Seriously fucking good. Like Oscar winning good. The cinematography is ridic.
