If Budden said I ran on NATIONAL TELEVISION I’d wanna punch him too..

..really ? especially if you were another rapper ? you couldn’t just appreciate the fact that it was a dope punchline

^^Yeah..I AM a rapper…And like I said : Theres certain rappers you dont diss/make jokes about unless you’re willing to fight. Its that simple. Everyone isnt gonna give you a pass. Joe knew that & did it anyway. So whatever happens, Joe still spat the line. You cant use the “Theyre rappers” argument. So what if they’re rappers? Diss me on a personal level & personally deal with it..

    Like Pun said:
“You talkin to (insert government name here) / Fuck (insert alias here)
/ Save the rap for later…”

The class clown KNOWS not to make jokes about certain people in the classroom, because they dont like bein cracked on…Not calling Joe a clown-but he shoulve known this would happen…

…..i see what your saying but at what point do you expect someone to think of a dope line like that and say naw i can’t use it, cause somebody might catch feelings over it, if started censoring your own thoughts that damn sure can’t be good….

While I’m still not impressed, I’ll stop nitpicking.

This Free album’s production is very traditionally Roc-ish. I like that.

So far this album isn’t bad at all. The beats are good, Freeway’s staying introspective/fun so far. It’s not as hustle-guns as I thought it’d be. He’s flying the Roc flag, and I dig that. Roc is on it’s way back.

Just for the record: Two Words, What We Do, Flipside, Roc the Mic (and it’s remix) are all tracks I dig featuring Freeway.

When I said ASCAP I meant SONGS WROTE. Check most of your favourite R&B albums. I bet you’ll find Kelly Prices name somewhere, whether its SONG WRITING, VOCAL ARRANGMENTS, PRODUCTION….She did ALOT for early Mary, the whole Bad Boy camp & Missy, the list is too long to even mention…Check some album credits B.

as a matter of fact, before that, Murphy Lee from the St. Lunatics had a “no hook” song…I think Fu Schnickens/Shaq did, too, right?

    ^^^^

Murphy Lee did “What the hook gon’ be?” which, in fact, had a hook. “Murphy’s Law” wasn’t a bad album.. Murphy Lee’s punchlines were good, production was solid.. Too many weed carrier appearances tho’.
