^You were right. Indies are killin’ the majors right now, as they should. I just had a talk about that with the homie Shawn Lee (Duepayers). We was talkin’ about the Jill Scott album and how I should support and cop it while it’s still $9.99. I said yeah, maybe you right because I didn’t cop the retails of 50 or Ye. He was talkin’ about how the ‘Ye/50 brouhaha was like voting: it won’t change anything but you gotta do it anyway (being that he copped Ye, which was like voting for Kerry). And I said, great point. But if that’s the case, then I support the independents: don’t have a chance in hell in winning but their politics are great (c) Ralph Nadar.

With that being said, the album Sky did with 9th is on my To Cop list, amongst others that I overlooked or don’t have in the collection.

To me, these dudes 1st album is a Classic. I like their style, but their last effort, not so much. Hopefully they can get better production and come back again.
