^Annapolis? You ol’ Naval base ass ninja. It aint jack shit out there. That’s deep in Anne Arundel county. Also the state’s capitol.

^ohh, okay nevermind then. im not sure wat its called then lol. i couldve sworn it was called annapolis.

^Umm, it is called Annapolis. It’s where the Naval Academy is located. And it’s in Anne Arundel County.

  15. pockets Says:

yo billz ive been meanin to holla at u about this book u GOTTA read, its called Freakonomics. it has crazy interesting theories in there, its bascially this man who explains reasons for a random array of subjects, and i do mean random. but the most interesting theory of his is why crime dropped so much in the 90s. it wasnt better laws for gun control or because of a better economy. crime dropped because of….abortions.

lemme explain real quick, in the early nineties crime was skyrocketing and everyone was worried as fock. ppl were predicting in a couple of years the country would be uninhabitable and young criminals would take over. bill clinton even made a speech about it. but then, all of a sudden, crime didnt skyrocket…it dropped. and dropped. and dropped some more. and the media claimed it was because of laws and the boom in the economy. but it was because more and more people were having abortions. if u are poor and a minority, u are way more likely to become a criminal. and who was having abortions? women who would otherwise have given birth to poor, minority children. there were less criminals being born.

Well I’ll agree with you there. 50 did speak the truth. It was a truthfull interview. Plus a real interview requires that the interviewer look at the artist as a normal person, just like if you were interviewing someone you happened to be cool with on the block.

  141. OnPoint Says:

    2. Hip-Hop is moving in a different direction. Kanye West has a world view of hip-hop music that’s sparked collaborations with artists ranging from Fall Out Boy to newer indie favorites Peter Bjorn and John. Even on his last album, attempts to veer into different genres were never misplaced as he created a palpable hit with Adam Levine for “Heard Em Say.” Although “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” is a slow-burner that’s often short on lyrics, the sentiment is never confused like in Curtis’s train wreck ballad efforts. With artists from the grime scene, UK pop and ghetto-tech now dominating the soundscape, Kanye has managed to slide neatly into both the acceptable fare and the experimental. “Stronger” assumes this feel with scatter-shot references to Japanese animation and the punk scene all rolled in one. 50 has delivered boring responses that rely too much on an old, overused format. Where his strength once lay in making hits and creating the controversy to back them up, now he’s been flubbing at doing either.
