@ Rey… another Latino you should be proud of.

  4. Rey Says:

This Joel Ortiz guy isn’t that bad. I might actually check for him.

  5. icon (trillbert arenas) Says:

don’t forget NORE, he’s half spanish, he cooks things with Goya…he’s half spanish, all day arroz con pollo….

  6. Rey Says:

@ Billz–lol.. Dude gets more credit for talking about motherfucking Carharrt Jackets than for being latino.

If I supported every latino I’d have to listen to Lumidee & Tony Sunshine do the cover of that Patrick Swayze song, “She’s Like The Wind”.

No “Nobody puts baby in a corner.”

  7. I Fux Says:

***Danny Hoch was funny, at least to me, in that movie “Whiteboyz”…it was like a halfway serious version of “Malibu’s Most Wanted”, lol…”Jails, Hospitals, and Hip Hop” was aiight, too, or so I’ve heard….

^^^Co-Sign both good entertainment if you can watch them………………..I think Joell Has a chance especially with a Dre Co-sign thats like a blessing from a Hip-Hop King………

  8. Rey Says:

Some shit just is what it is…I can’t say it’s because I have impeccable taste in movies, because if nobody’s around, I’ll damned sure watch “Who’s the Man”, or some equally horrible flick…in fact, “Krush Groove” is one of my favorite horrible flicks ever….felt good to get that off my chest (no Weezy cleaning up after Baby visits a video set)

*bamma* = A general-multi used DC Metro area term used to describe a southern person who has no style, taste, or class. Usually this person has no idea that he/she is classified as a Bamma – rather they go about their daily lives thinking what they do, say, or wear is acceptable.

    @ Herbal– Gracias.

@ Billz– I didn’t have one of those in 8th grade, I had one in 9th tho’… They weren’t “in” then, but they weren’t played out to the point where I got made fun of.

The only Malcolm shirt I ever wanted was one with a pic of him with the gun by the window but they stay making shirts way to fucking big for my liking

^I copped one of those in DC in ‘04 in Up Against the Wall by Howard U. The sizes are cut to fit. It’s a certain kind of Hanes cut you have to get in order for it to fit right.

^^^thats what I am talking about No Icon rocking a Nightgown clowning on shirts that fit properly and making your mother proud

^I’m not a hypocrite though because prior to ’04 all my shit was extra baggy. Big ass tees, hoodies, and jeans. Urban gear like a mofo, lol. But I honestly woke up one day and didn’t like anything in my closet. It’s somethin’ that I had to naturally do. Not just because mofos thought it was cool. But if I’m rockin’ Timbs, my jeans still have to have a certain cut so that they bleed over of the boots just right.

Holy hell, who do you think I am? Do you really think I have the patience to sit here and decode this coddamn message? How much effort does it take to write somethin like that out, replacing all the I’s with !’s and all the E’s with 3’s? You must be kidding. No way you could survive on a show like “Wheel of Fortune.” I can see it now…”I’d like to buy a vowel.” “Which one?” “I’d like to buy a 3, please.” “Vana, do we have any 3’s? Sorry, no 3’s.” There is no way this girl has even graduated junior high, right? Wrong. She’s 20 muthalovin years old! 20! Are you serious? Go to class! Get a job! Do something better with yourself than write these messages that require a keyword to decode. Her future may not be too bright considering the fact that in her “who I’d like to meet” section, she had this:

What was your nickname in high school?

Can I say? Oh, God. It was D-Breath. D-I-C-K Breath. But it wasn’t true!

What wasn’t true? That you had breath that smelled like d*ck?

Right, not at all! You know what it is? My lips are so huge, so people say I go those DSLs, so they called me D-Breath.

    FYI: DSLs= D*ck Sucking Lips

On another note, its funny that ever since 02 I’ve found my self repeatedly listening to only classic or older songs. Before that I guess the current rap music at the time was good enough to keep you occupied, so much that you didn’t find alot of time to listen to your classic and older titles. But now with the degrading quality of music, It’s a habit to listen to mostly older shit when rap was still skillfull.

It doesn’t matter who it is, even the “best” rappers in the game have fell off, and their newer albums dont compare to their older ones. 05/06 was a dim year for rap music, I can only recall three albums, being nas, hov, and lupe. 2007 seems even worse, I don’t think Ive downloaded a 2007 release or mixtape yet. I’m still stuck in the 90’s and early 00’s of music, regardless of how much I hear that shit it sounds 100’s better than the current bullshit.
