^^ wirst cell phone shit ever– that dude with the too small phone that brings the speaker between his mouth and ear the whole convo like its a fucking walkie talkie:

    “Ayo– where you at??”
    *moves to ear*
“yo- i aint catch that say it again, but gimme a second”
    *moves to ear”
“AYO– i said– count to 5 before talking”
    *moves to ear*

    ASSSHOOOOLE!

^^lol, seriously. i hate that shit too. the chirp is better than that…well on second thought maybe not.

  2. green eyes Says:

^^its not about findin other women attractive, for me at least. its about being in a more relaxed atmosphere where dudes back off a little instead of hounding u in the club since there are naked women walkin around to spark their interest.

just wanted to say that, not that it matters though because i’ve said it here before.

^^ i can agree with that

^^Likely story Shantilly. U can stay home to drink and have relaxing atmosphere with friends…

    >>remember the days when Smif N Wessun went gold…..and you could hear “It aint hard to tell” on the radio in reg rotation like 3 in the afternoon…….and the demise all of that is tied directly to companies trying to hit their bottom line

I feel you T but supporting the majors slave operation isn’t gonna help. you mentioned Smif and Wessun. support them niggas, they’re on an independent label gettin their grind on. maybe if the majors don’t make their bottom line, they’ll start paying attention and listen to what consumers want. when execs start getting escorted out of the buildings I bet whoever their replacement is will wanna do things differently.

  5. Two-Times Says:

    I just read that Ras Kass interview at dx… I didn’t know he’s Bleu DaVinnci’s cousin…

Kass was talking mad crazy about how alot of people are after Game and Game’s album release party got shot up (I didn’t know that)..

Do you think the Raekwon album actually comes out this year and if it does will it sell atleast gold in a few months…………. OB4CL= my favorite album of all time, I was like 13 or 14 and that shit got me through high school on my discman on constant rotation pink case red disc…. oh the memories

^^^nah i dont think it will come out this year… interscope is being lazy, look at banks’ album. they already have the december release date for em’s mixtape album but nothing about rae’s joint.
im pretty sure it will be dope though, he’s been bringing fuego lately.

^^How do ya’ll feel about the DJ’s role in this problem? Or, are they just the innocent by standers involved?

  10. Paperstacker Says:

I’m saying you can have a long chirp convo though, cuz it’s not gay…it’s manly like you’re on a work site or some shit. and yeah, I’m not with all that phone to face whispering in the next niggas ear and shit b, that shit is homo’d out.

(I’m half kidding. of course I talk on the phone, cuz everybody doesn’t have chirp, but I do think it’s gay and I would never talk to anybody except wifey for more than like 2 minutes)

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

lol, but nah, i hate putting a cell phone too my face and shit too, i’d rather use a headset or the chirp shit cause that works better. And i hate them lil ass flip phones too. Im trying to get a new cellie but i dont have enough money to get some blackberry type shit. wondering what to cop.

^^yeah that was funny to me too. niggas will go above and beyond to avoid any homo connotations.

    @ Jamz

i’m not even about to get into this convo again. except to say this. i honestly like the strip club atmosphere moreso than a regular bar and sometimes more than a regular club. stayin at home is cool but sometimes i want to get out of the house. plus when guys buy you drinks at the strip club they don’t wanna dance, follow you around or any of that ish. they just buy you a drink and before you know it some naked girl has caught their attention and there’s no problem or bad feelings for ignoring him for the rest of the night.

    @ Esk

I feel you and not to beat a dead horse….If Smif N Wessun were selling plat do you think they would be on an Independent…..sidenote everybody knows DJ’s make most of their money under the table.

  17. eskay Says:

    >>Im trying to get a new cellie but i dont have enough money to get some blackberry type shit.

you can get a good BB for like 150

  18. green eyes Says:

you can trace alot of it back to the major mergers of ’99ish. anytine a huge company takes over another huge company– you just end up with a beast. In other industries it may work, but in entertainment it just turns out a mess of formulaic, homogenized bullshit.

then throw clear cahgnnel in the mix buying every radio station in the country and thats it– when you have 4 companies making all of the decisions you loose out on any creativity or innovation. the machine becomes too big to fight

  19. G7 Says:

    >>How do ya’ll feel about the DJ’s role in this problem? Or, are they just the innocent by standers involved?

Most radio DJ’s are corny. They’re just puppets without ballz!!

thats a good question. maybe I don’t understand enough about how the industry works, but I don’t see why a big seller wouldn’t want to be on an independent label.

  23. I Fux Says:

^ I would say without the machine it gets harder to move major units, plus the rapper would have to do all the work, which I am assuming they dont want to do unless they are from Houston

K-OS’ rant is a little sad. It’s not “Uncle Tom-ing” if the writer likes your work. However, the truth does hurt. I haven’t heard his latest offering, but I did get his first album, and the truth is: His lyrics are average. He’s earnest, but that’s probably the best you can say. He has to remember that he’s being compared to “best in class”. It’s unfair, but that’s just a fact of the world we’re in, where technology makes it incredibly easy to sample a wider variety of work

  40. Ru*AKA**Jesus bootlegged:He fed 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread! where you think he got it from????? Says:
