Joe Buddens Interview, Speaks on Hov/Def Jam

buddens.jpg

I stay telling people, sleep on Joe Buddens at your own risk. I got caught sleeping on homey a couple times and I paid the price by being late as hell on some incedible freestyles/verses. Mood Musik 2, Joey’s latest mixtape which dropped late last year was definitley nuts, but one particular verse had a lot of people speculating about whether or not he really was as happy at Def Jam as he claimed in a XXL article a few months back:

He don’t want the fame no more, its fuckin wit me
Don’t hear Reasonable Doubt the same more
I can’t listen to Blueprint (Naaw!)
Got a resentment toward Hov, tryin to hate on em, throwin in my two cent
They say don’t bite the hand that feeds you
Even if I wanted to, I can’t, no teeth to
Don’t get me wrong, I still got love for Clue and Hov
But they both rich, so what that gotta do wit Joe?!

I felt where Joey was coming from on that verse, you’d probably feel the same way after getting pushed back 20 years. Well there’s a new interview with the King of Jerz over at Nobodysmiling.com and he elaborates on his statements a little and promises that his sophomore album will be out this summer, on Def Jam:

…he came over there and me and him had some pretty productive conversations and I mean-but that line really just is all about like, when I hear about Hov still performing at “Summer Jam” or when I hear a record and I still hear Hov; like, it’s great because I love hearing Hov, but the business side, the artist in me, I get mad-I get upset; cause there’s a president of my label who’s supposed to be fucking running things and getting these artists out and doing what he’s supposed to do and he’s still being the greatest of all time.

Like, how can we-we compete with each other. Like, I just feel like sometimes his focus might be in the wrong places, but that’s when I’m in one of my moods. But that’s what the line was about: so I have a hard time listening to-he’s my favorite rapper-but I just have a hard time listening to him, even the old shit, because I just get upset; cause it brings me back to my current situation and why things may be a little bit harder than they should. So that’s all. A lot of people said it was a diss. It wasn’t dissin Hov.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Hov get on your job. I’m happy for you and Ne-Yo and everything, but I’m not interested in your little R&B side projects.

MUCH RESPECT TO MY DOG JEWELS SANTANA. HE GOT HIS OWN SELF OUT THERE WHEN DEF JAM WAS STARTIN TO DO THE SAME THANG. HE’S MAKIN MORE MONEY OFF HIS MIXTAPES THAN HIS WACK A$$ ALBUM. THOSE CATS NEED TO STOP WAITING ON ANOTHER MAN AND GET ISH STARTED THEY SELF.

  5. tyronebiggums71 Says:

yea thats pretty much how i took the verse. lots of my people were thinking it was a straight up diss to clue and hov, but if you know joe’s music and follow him like i do you would of known that was just his way of venting, he aint gonna hold back shit and if someone gets offeneded or takes the wrong way fuck them. ive said it before and ill say it again i love both hov and buddens they are defintely my 2 favorites alive now but i do think jay doesnt really fuck with joe that hard because joe doesnt kiss his ass all day, he gives hov his respect but he wants to make his own way and stand on his own 2. im with you eskay cause i dont get it hov is getting critizied hard for his def jam moves so far ( although i do think its unfair i mean give dude time ) but if he would work with joe and get joe out i really truely believe buddens can be the next hov. hov is the best ever at walking the thin line of commercial success and still have the respect of the streets, no one has ever been supported by both ends near as much as jay, thats just the truth. i defintely believe joe can walk that same line but he needs that chance and support, if jay would just give him some just blaze and a couple kanye joints and maybe do a song or 2 with him joe could and would blow but he is getting no push from his label.

also lalachicki – thats a real old pic of the boy

  6. Luis Says:

“give JAY TIME”…..hmmmm ok let’s see how mr. steroids….oops I meant mr. smith (ll cool j) does when he drops!!!!

I CAN’T AND WON’T RESPECT THAT!!!! I DO RESPECT HOVE MOVE TO DROP SO MANY R&B ACTS AND WATCH THEM SELL… THATS THE BEST WAY TO RE-ESTABLISH DEF JAM AS A LEGIT LABEL AND NOT JUST A RAP LABEL AND THEN HIT THE INDUSTRY WITH SOME CRAZY HITS AND THEN PUT OUT SOME WHITE MUFUCKAS AND BANG DEF JAM IS “THE” LABEL AGAIN!!! SO I UNDERSTAND IT….. BUT YALL NIGGAS CAN’T BLAME 50 FOR THE FALL OF EAST COAST RAP CUZZ THAT NIGGA GONE DROP MOBB DEEP AND MOP THEN MASE THEN A BANKS ALBUM AND LAST I CHECKED THATS ALL EAST COAST SO IF YOU WANNA BE MAD AT ANYONE GET MAD AT THE SWAGGER JACKERS THATS KISS THE SOUTH ASS….. Nigga need to be a man and Take his Career in his own hands!!!

  9. Luis Says:

madden im not bitching about sales, I just think he made fucked up moves by pushing his acts first than any other, hence the were ALL duds except kanye and we all know why!!!!

  10. D. Billz Says:

@ Ty Biggs comment… I’m a Joe fan too I agree 200%. I’m also a Jay fan too, but I think he needs to focus on his role as a president more than a artist. [Lets admit it: yall knew Joey was the man when Jay jacked “Pump It Up” and Joe took that shit BACK… no one has ever did that before!] It’s unfair that Budden has to suffer while he has been on the label much longer than any of the new artists Jay released on Rocafella. I agree with you on the fact that Jay know Joe is nice and doesn’t kiss Jay’s ass, yet he does pay homage which is more than enough respect than most artists will do these days (since people tend to forget that you have to be a fan of the music before you can actually become an artist). And even Jay is aware of Joe’s potential and I think is probably a little uneasy with the possible competition. Think about it: he’s marketable (got the look), he’s young(er), and has integrity in his music (Mood Muzik 2 speaks for itself). And yeah, he’s in tune with the mainstream as much as the streets. That’s why his moniker “Regular Joe” couldn’t be more suitable because he’s a well-rounded artist. As an artist, what more could you ask for: introspective songs, club/party joints, and some unforgetable punchlines/freestyles that will go down as classics. The label jerked him when Kevin Liles left but I thought it would change when Jay became prez. You got Kanye and Just as producers on the same label, what more do you need? His next album could be a classic if the powers that be just allowed him to. If this is the direction that Jay is taking Def Jam then I don’t like it. He says he cares about the culture, but it seems he cares more about himself as if he embodies the culture as a whole at Def Jam. For once, an artist I really fuck with has the opportunity to take over the world (yeah, I said it… sue me!), and he isn’t getting his just due. And yeah, I know what you thinkin’, “damn that’s a long ass post” (lol), but I truly believe that Joe is “the one” right now. Your favorite artist aint fuckin’ wit’ em… take that and cash it, chief.

  11. KonishiwaBitches Says:

Joe Budden is fucked i bet fab album gonna come out before joe……………………………..

  12. eskay Says:

See now I don’t believe for a minute that Hov ever thought the young gunz or whatever they’re called and Bleek would actually do numbers. I think he just put them out to get their albums over with. Jay has to know deep down that Joey is one of the best artists on the label and I think he’s either not sure how to handle the album or he doesn’t want to rush it or something…

  13. D. Billz Says:

Yeah eskay, I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I want to believe that Shawn is not really a crab dude that would jerk Joe. Yeah, I’m callin’ gov’ts out! Now that Bleek and Young Gunz albums are outta the way (by the way, I miss the whole State Prop movement… squash that shit yall and make some music) it shouldn’t be any reason why Joe don’t come out this year.

  14. tyronebiggums71 Says:

nyc – how do you expect joe do everything on his own, he cant do everything to get a def jam release out and he is contractually obligated to be on def jam still so all he can do is release mixtapes and keep dudes like me happy until someone finally wakes up and helps him, no one can put together promote and release an album all on their own and succeed. seriously juelz did it but his album hasnt sold well , shit has it even gone gold, joe wants to sell, thats why HE originally pushed the album back himself. your boy 50 couldnt do it alone he has the greats marketing and promotion machine of all time, in interscope records. who the hell puts albums out completely by themseleves, yea people on koch the same people you blast all day for being on koch, you dont ever make any sense dude your a walking contridiction

  15. tyronebiggums71 Says:

also im laughing my ass of right now at NYC saying joe needs to step up and be a real man. liek this clown as the first clue what being a real man entails, and like he knows the first thing about how joe holds it down. i guess you would want joe to put an order of protection on someone then make a song calling them pussy’s i bet that would make you think he was a real man then huh?

  16. tyronebiggums71 Says:

and co-sign what d.billz and eskay said, i mean bleek and young gunz are his boys he knows they wont sell but he still did it, they were ready to just throw the growth out there like the did with the gunners and bleek but buddens didnt want it half -assed buddens wants to sell he wants to have that push behind him, and again if buddens comes out this year on def jam i gaur an damn tee it will be a instant classic

  17. Demiks Says:

Joe Budden isn’t the only one being held up at Def Jam right now either. What happened to Noreaga and Redman? Nore had that video for “Oye Mi Canto” a looooong time ago, his album ever going to drop? And Redman filmed his video for “Rush The Security,” but it never even hit TV yet (or I haven’t seen it.)

  18. tyronebiggums71 Says:

^^^ no shit red gone wild was supposed to drop last fall, but to be real def jam has had this problem since tical 2, they always have trouble getting albums out on time

  19. babyGirlCanada Says:

    First of all:

Joe Buddens should knwo better.. sophmore album debut barely went gold whats his fucking rush? he should be more diligent and be tryign to be out there making a name for himself instead of picking the biggest scape goat out there right now.. Amerie was pushed back until she leaked 1 thing.. Janet Jackson can’t even get her shit put out at all so who the fuck is Joe Buddens. I LOVE him loved his first album.. everybod was really sleeping on that he was so real love his website he replies all the dumb ass messeges people send to him.. I like that but he really should be finding ways to push himself and not fucking crying about what someone else is doing the only person u can control is you.. that’s why he feels he has no teeth!.. get some teeth!

    Second:

Jay has his finger in many pies.. that’s how not to get broke and end up working for somebody.. he worked up to this it’s not lie people gave him tthe time of day either ( Joe should take not and get inspiration from that story instead of whining about how he can’t get released he should grab the ball from whoevers court and just take a shot on his own! ) anyway I think Jay can still do it all, I wouldn’t give a fuck abotu Joe Buddens or anybody either, he’s got movies, cd’s, concerts, presidency, beef, nas’ shit, watches, cars and charities it’s unbelievable his schedule.. I’m always amazed he’s come so far from just being a rapper.. he doesn’t owe it to anyone not even his artists to slow down.. I wouldnt either. Also, if Joe Buddens knew anythign about the corporate world he would know presidents don’t reallly do any work anyway, Jay doens’t have to be parading around with rihanna and ne-yo on mtv and so on I’m sure that’s just out of love, since when do we see any of the white presidents do that shit? What we DON’T see is that CEO’s Directors and presidents often sit on more than one company, they get paid full salaries at 2 or 3 companies for their expertise, sure people complain about where their allegiance lies and how they can serve multiple companies fully but they manage it because thats what they are paid to do.. nobody in thei WORLD has only one job. if Joe buddens needs a 100% dedicated manager he should holla at his mum. even managers and publicits and so on all manage multiple clients.. sure they’re not pushing themselves but they have to multi-task that’s the way the world is…

How can you expect to ever come out of Jay’s shadow, he’s competition to ANY rapeper as long as he’s breathing…. plain and simple.. Joe will always have to worry about competition from Hov on any given day he can take the crown back if he wanted I don’t see what he’s so salty about he should just put the whole story out there like Jada and them and let the public decide.. for the most part he just sounds like a whining baby… he should push himself, get out there do for HIM instead of waiting on another man ( also, like Jay is the only person making ALLLL the decisions at DefJam, what would he have to gain? If he wasn’t in that position Joe would be whining about something else.. this is the same shit I hated with DMX.. they just need to be smarter about their business instead of crying everytime something doesn’t go their way!! It’s a business nobody owes them a fucking album.. if they were that hot they’d GET everything so maybe that’s what they should be working on!

  20. KonishiwaBitches Says:

Noreaga is one sad story can you believe that he the same dude who was on the war report……niggas was mean back then cnn WAS the shit

  21. babyGirlCanada Says:

@Demiks how can you go there?

I wouldn’t rush Nore or Redman either, they old as hell and who the hell still listens to themm.. last hit Redman had was that club joint in like ’98 ( the dirty one then he did the remix with Xtina Aguilera of all people ) please those aren’t A listers.

Also Young Gunz and Memph are on ROCAFELLA not DefJam proper.. Jay doesn’t have to sit and meet about rocafella artists I’m sure he just lets them go whenever the damn album is ready… and since when was Memph releasing albums EVER a problem:

Bleek can be one hit away his whole career
    ‘long as I’m here he’s a millionaire

don’t forget that line.. he’ll stay releasing albums on the roc, he’s probably co-owner but that’s his friend practically fam.. so why not??? please as if anyone here wouldn’t do the same.. shit you heard of Master P??????? his while family got albums

  22. eskay Says:

    >>Noreaga is one sad story can you believe that he the same dude who was on the war report

    yeah seriously.

  23. AGeezee Says:

Nore turned into a silly dude. I don’t know what happened, I thought CNN was going to be the next big thing in hip hop.

  24. AGeezee Says:

And Budden and Kenyon Martin are really the same person. The Shock G/Humpty of the new millenium.

  25. whatever Says:

I tell y’all what, y’all need to stop ridin’ Jay-Z nuts. Dude ain;t got as much power as y’all think he has. That is why only teh Rocafella artists have dropped. And didn’t Dame sign Joe Buddens to Rocafella?

  26. tyronebiggums71 Says:

^^^ KENYON AND JOE DO LOOK ALOT ALIKE

  27. D. Billz Says:

@babygirlcanada… you made a great point. Unlike some chicks, you actually know a thing or two about music/the biz, I like that. How old are you? *leaning back in work chair on my bullshit lunch break*

To some extent I agree with you that an artist should take control of his/her own situation. But to what degree will they be penalized if something goes wrong? As a business person, you want to utilize as much of the label’s money as possible. Make them work for you. I understand that Jay has other obligations, but if that’s the case then he should have thought twice about taking the job. Russell, Lyor, and Kevin weren’t rappers (well, technically Kev was but it was before Def Jam and irrelevant). Therefore they could dedicate their time to the artists when needed. Yes, there are other departments in the DJ building. But guess who gives them the orders? That means when it’s time to push Ne-Yo’s album then Joe will have to wait his turn. Lets take FREEWAY, for example. After the whole signing of Nas and the slew of R&B, he decided to make amends with 50 and sign with G-Unit. Is that a lucrative decision? Well, considering the fact that he’s contractually obligated to Roc/Def, now he’ll have to split his share of earnings with another label. He’ll also have to deal with another staff of people at the same time. If it was that easy I think many other artists would take their careers in their own hand. We can talk about how the South do it, but they have Mom and Pop stores and more supporters in the streets who buy music outta someone’s trunk. This is why people like T.I. and Slim Thug get the kinda deals with the majors. Because they already sold 30,000 – 100,000 units in the street which is how the labels knew about them in the first place. And right now, what other label you know that is hip-hop driven? Sony? No. Warner? No. J Records? Hell no (ask Busta). Shit, call it what you want but I’d be “whining” too. This is this man’s bread and butter and I’m not gonna let some indecisive president/artist/entreprenuer leave my career hangin’.

  28. D. Billz Says:

^^ I remember on Rapnetwork, like a few years when Joe first dropped, they had Rasheed Wallace’s name on there. They both got the same type of voice and accent and people actually thought it was Rasheed rappin’.

  29. tyronebiggums71 Says:

^^^ once again d.billz comes hard with that real talk the boy speaks the truth, there is so much more politics to this game and contractual garbage effecting these dudes that none of these people like luis or NYC have any clue about but for some reason they like to act like their hero and run their mouth without knowing anything

  30. G Off Says:

As much as we all love Joe as a rapper, he needs to continue to put out good music (like Mood Music 2) and force the label to put him out. Last summer when “Gangsta Party” got some play, there really wasn’t any hype around Buddens. He needs to build it on his own. If Jay is his role model, do like Jay did and make your music speak for yourself. It’s working for The Clipse and it could work for him.

And, let’s all be honest here: Joe’s strong point is his introspective music- which isn’t going to sell big. He needs to work on his radio cuts… “Pump it Up” was obviously a huge record, but “Fire” was weak and the other R&Bish joints on the album sounded forced. He needs to work with producers- maybe some new ones and find something that works for him. He’s got that early Eminem honesty about his personal problems going for him- make your own “Cleaning Out My Closet” or something like that.

  31. TYRONEBIGGUMS Says:

g-off, i defintely agree about the introspective shit and about him being the best since em with letting you actaully feel his pain and when i listen to joe i feel like i know dude and i understand him he has a way of being brutally honest and the one thing i respect more than anything else out of a person is honesty and i think its a huge reason why i really fuck with buddens and why i love the old eminem so much

  32. D. Billz Says:

Tru dat @ Ty Biggs and G Off. But what I hate most is that introspective music (by a Black artist) actually USED to sell! Remember Ghostface on that “All That I Got is You”? Remember Tribe Called Quest and “Stressed Out”? Them shits used to get madd spins on the radio.

“Things just aint the same for gangstas…”

  33. TYRONEBIGGUMS Says:

^^^ exactly but now since the shiney suit era ( puffy and mase ) record labels saw a to make money and that was to take hip-hop and turn it into hip-pop, what sells now is hip-pop real rap still doesnt sell but its still real rap. the record execs dont care about skills lyrical content or underlying message all they care about is money so if its not poppy the record execs dont wanna touch it cause it cant go multi plat but before shiney suits if a rap record went gold that shit was crazy successful.

also damn anyone notice how luis disppeared after the onyx comments dude has been saying all day about how 50 only been in the game 3 years i guess we just hit him off with a history lession. 50 has been in the game forever and would of never come out if em and dre didnt save him and you wanna say he did it all on his own, ha get the fuck outta here clown

  34. the green eyed bandit Says:

looks like joe is pushin’ a ’87 toyota tercel. damn, brings back the memories……my first car.

if that pic is current then he definitly needs to bounce from def jam. he shoulod have been able to move up to a corolla by now at least!

  35. TYRONEBIGGUMS Says:

^^^ green eyed bandit the pic is old as hell its been on hiphopgame.com’s pics section for a real long time

  36. Demiks Says:

    babyGirlCanada:

Malpractice (Redman’s last album), came out in 2001. What? You don’t remember “Let’s Get Dirty”? Christina’s song came AFTER that, how can ’98 be after ’01? Stupid.

What do you mean “A listers”? Artists who apply to 14 year old white girls and sell alot of records? I don’t fuck with Christina’s music, but for awhile she was on top. And age? How shallow are you?? Red is probably in his early thirties, so what? You got Dolly Parton trying to come back with getting liposuction and breast implants, and that bitch old as fuck! Plus Jay-Z making comebacks, Rakim, and KRS all made comebacks well past that age. Plus people are contemplating Dr. Dre coming back, who’s probably breaking 40.

You don’t speak for everyone, and your arrogant ass needs to hush. If you think Redman doesn’t have fans, then you seriously need to change the channel, MTV will make you stupid. Just because you place people in lists and base them by popularity, doesn’t mean other people don’t think as narrow minded as you. I listen to the music I feel and don’t give a damn about the artists popularity.

Go play your dance music, I don’t play that.

    >> Noreaga is one sad story can you believe that he the same dude who was on the war report……niggas was mean back then cnn WAS the shit

“The Reunion” wasn’t that bad neither, but yeah. CNN were on top at one point, plus they were on that east/west beef. Some of the few who actually dissed the west. History likes to change the story and make it look like Bad Boy/Death Row.

  37. Demiks Says:

And the Meth/Red compilation, Blackout had “Da Rocwilder” on it. That blew up too.

  38. eskay Says:

word up, I’m a Redman aficionado

  39. MADDENMASTER Says:

Oh yeah redman is that nigga…. I can still sing “how to roll a blunt” without taking a breath…… and biggums you right curtis would have never came out if it was up to them gay ass new york niggas, who be shook of the youth!!! Just look at Big L, Millz, tru-life, shaheed and the list never fucking ends and 1999 hardly qualify as “FOREVER” But shit 1994 does.. you talk about my “so-called” hate for Jada-Snitch but you mention 50 every single time you post… thats crazy!!!

    but its all good!!!!

  40. UrMans&Thems Says:

“Yo B, you guys don’t want it with Hov. Ask your man Budden. He doesn’t want it with Hov. Noooo” – Hov

  41. Miami Hustle Says:

Please let me know if im late! Juelz is left DEF JAM?????? according to other posts thats the notion im getting! Eskay, anyone?? If so, thats some dumbmafuck shit

  42. Fresh Says:

Fuck all that, can we talk about the picture please? HA HA!

  43. tyronebiggums71 Says:

why are so many of you fools so caught up money? this picture is old i have seen it in the net before his solo album dropped. who cares what dude is driving now but defintely who gives a fuck what he used to drive, you motherfuckers hating must just be mad you got the same whip with no chance of getting anything better

  44. reggaetonslasher Says:

lol @ king of new jerz, in a 95 honda hatchback, but on the real i thinks its personal ever since joe murdered hov and outshined him on that track.

  45. the green eyed bandit Says:

I smell you tyrone, I had to joke on that car cause I owned it once myself.

    did last forever though!

  46. E.RANDLE Says:

i love joey! and think he is hot to def….i understand (now) to what he was tryin to say, but hova wasnt there b4 that and you were getting pushed back. i think 50 said something about jada and them that applies here and that is get on your job, is joey on his job? not just in the studio but to the public no one can advertise me better than me. keep waiting on someone to go out of there way to make you rich and you will forever be a door mat. mood music is the second hardest mixtape of last years, (suffix-lil weexy) but i think joey has what it takes to be great but apply yourself joey…shit even i have done some leg work for him, im a fan and when i went to my local bootlegger and he said that joey wasnt in demand so he didnt pick it up, i went to ny and got one and came down here to ct and pumped it…word of mouth! but if the product wasnt good it wouldnt matter. keep tryin joey we here waitn. im in that mood!

  47. janice Says:

    dat niggaz rde

  48. urcorny Says:

Y’all do realize that pic of that car is from the fire video shoot right? Not what dude is really drivin?

Y’all also realize he is redoin the album and thats why it’s not out yet right?

No longer on Hov’s plate…they’re waitin on Joe.

  49. eskay Says:

^ yeah I meant to say that I was pretty sure that was from a video shoot.

  50. sclass0020 Says:

Mood muzik 2 was better than 95% of the joints that came out last year, so why is hov so quick to get every body and there mother’s album out besides jump off’s. I mean tierra marie, rhianna, rick ross, etc.. Taking nothing from these people but lyrically you cant name five emcees out that can handle dude. Jumpoff isnt the type to have mad guest appearances on his shit and he if one of few emcees that is on hov’s level lyrically. if hov put 60% of the effort he puts behind some others, joe budden would have shit on smash. Jay is my man, but there has to be things going on that the public doesnt know about

  51. sclass0020 Says:

u cant compare joe to juelz, banks or anyone else, this nigga will not piggyback. banks got 40 cent, juelz got the dip set, buddens will not ride anyones coat tails, hell he doesnt even really do collabos, def jam made him do that fire joint. think about this, 40 cent supposedly had beef but he personally never spoke jumpoffs name, he just sent game and banks and they both got smashed.

^^^ real talk on both those posts, first off im as big a fan of jay as anyone but in all seriousness i think buddens would smash jay if they were to battle, he would damn sure be able to get a response from jay, i dont think there is anyone who can really touch joe now and if you dont believe check dumb out check all of mood music 2 check all of his 5 haertbeat aka g-unit and game disses where he picks them all apart and destroys them, and like sclass0020 said 50 started the beef with buddens when he was the guest editor in interscope magazine opps my bad i mean XXL where he put buddens in the step your rap up section for ” i push diesal / i dont mean jeans or t-shirts”
50 has said he tries to end people before they become a threat ( thats why he keeps coming at ja, even though he is done, and got at joe and jada for helping him with that shit cause he doesnt want ja to get any fans back to be able to come back he needs to stop it before it started and thats what he did with joe and like homie sclass said he said that said something slick at summerjam ( meanwhile joe was being held back by security as he was trying to come on stage and grab a mic ) but after that he just sent banks and game at him because he knew he couldnt fuck with joe, shit joe called him out at the end of game over he said quit sending you little wack-ass pawns after me fuck game banks buck yayo come after a real nigga but 50 never said shit again cause HE DON”T WANT IT WITH JOE.

hov realized how nice joey was with the pump it up remix when jay ripped it but joe came back and destroyed it, and the sad thing is in hip-hop the people on top dont like to help others out who they think might be nicer they will bring up decent people all day but they dont want someone stealing the shine from them . everyone needs to really see that joey is that dude he is the future

If he felt like that at the time of the interview, then I wonder how he feels about Rick Ross comin’ out. Seems like they are trying to get him out as soon as possible to capitalize on the Hustlin’ song. How much longer is he going to take getting pushed back?
