Moby, You Can Get Stomped By Obie

Moby is re-igniting his feud with Eminem.

The techno musician made headlines a few years back when he accused the rapper of promoting homophobia with his songs. Now, Moby is telling Eminem and anyone who promotes his “misogynistic” music: “you have blood on your hands.”

Moby’s outrage stems largely from a recent case in which an Eminem fan and impersonator recently was convicted of murdering a woman and stuffing her in a suitcase. The man had just finished a karaoke performance singing Eminem’s music. In his video, “Stan,” Eminem murders a woman he put in the trunk of a car.

Let me say first off that in no way do I condone violence towards women. I have a daughter and I do not play that shit even a little bit. That said, I think Moby is reaching a little bit with this one to say the least. Normal people just don’t do that type of shit. Sure normal people may flip out and kill somebody every now and then, but for the most part they don’t stuff the remains into a suitcase in homage to a music video.

For Moby to insinuate that Em ‘has blood on his hands’ is in a way minimizing what this idiot did and transferring uneccessary blame to an entertainer. He also calls out the band Prodigy, as well as radio and MTV program directors, saying they should all feel responsible for this woman’s death. That is such bullshit. Why is a song any different from a movie where a woman (or anybody for that matter) gets killed? Am I also to assume that I won’t be seeing any Moby videos on MTV ever again, by his choice and not because of a blacklisting because of these comments?

When somebody puts dead remains in a trunk by imitating someone else, how is it not the persons fault? It’s not the tabacco industries fault for paying for movie/tv roles to have smokers? Or put tobacco ads in magazines?

Eminem should of put a discretion in his video. But I see what your sayin’, because the people who do this, are messed up in the first place. But these people wouldn’t have got the ideas without the videos being there in the first place.

Theres 2 ways to do things, the Pac way, and the 50 way. The Pac way explains shit, then explains that theres better ways, and right and wrong decisions. The 50 way is just glorifying shit until kids wanna imitate it.

“They say music can alter moods and talk to u, well can it load gun up for u and cock it to. Well if it can then the next time u assault a dude, just tell the judge it wqas my fault and I’ll get sued”

Funny thing is the media isnt having a field day with the story.. Because Eminem is white. When a dude shot a cop and said it was Tupac’s song that inspired him, that shit was on every damn channel.

Yes, that is Moby getting humiliated.

And Demiks: You’re on some old bullshit. Pac got rich off his beef with Bad Boy, so I don’t wanna hear this shit about him being a spokesperson for the “right” way to do things. Remember his song “Hit ‘Em Up?” How about “Bomb First?” Give me a break, man. So what he had a couple of songs that talked about how young blacks in America need to change? About 95% of his songs glorified revenge and violence.

A song shouldn’t be considered any different from a movie, and as long as we live in this great country, there will continue to be violent songs, movies, music videos, etc. Get used to it. That’s how we do.

Normal, mentally stable people can appreciate the entertainment value in these mediums and filter it out to be something that they obviously shouldn’t do. Insane people cling on to it as reality and lack that common sense filter.

He is an ENTERTAINER he gets PAID to be who he is. Crazy people are going to find an outlet to do crazy things. I wonder if next time somebody stabs somebody they will blame Bratt Pitt because they saw Troy. Or they will shoot somebody because they think that bullets can be dodged like in The Matrix. They are FICTIONAL PERSONA… stop being idiots.
