The Game – Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin’ DVD

Sunday, November 27th, 2005

On December 6th The Game is dropping the Stop Snitchin – Stop Lyin DVD, which he’s been promoting with his 120 Bars freestyle. Although Game recently wished 50 the best of luck at the Vibe awards, at the time he was sporting a G-Unot haircut and tattooon his right arm. It’s funny the way he tries to act like he’s not  thinking about 50, when it’s pretty obvious to everybody else that he’s obsessed with the guy. I mean riding against dude is one thing, but Game is taking this thing to a whole new level if you know what I mean. The DVD features Game traveling to 50’s estate in Conneticut and stealing the rim from his basketball court, and a visit to the G-Unot billboard on Jamaica Avenue in 50’s old hood.

Several different domain names have been registered such as 50sasnitch.com, wedonttalktopolice.com, and theblairsnitchproject.com but they all point to the same website where you can preorder the DVD and re-up on G-Unot t-shirts and BlackWallStreet merchandise. Below are a couple of clips of Game talking about the DVD and new song from Game featuring Paul Wall. Despite 50’s continued insistence that Game will not be working with their boss on his upcoming album, the song features production from none other than the Dr. himself.

More DVD features from stopsnitchinstoplyin.com:

-Game’s G-Unot Billboard in Queens, NY
-Tons of other hip hop figures speaking on the beef
-The whole truth about G-Unit
-The real NYPD "Hip Hop Cops"
-Searching for Oliver
-Farmington, Connecticut (50s crib)
-Game playing basketball in the Bronx
-The truth about Tony Gayo being locked up
-Plus much much more you have to see to believe
DVD Also Includes The Following Bonus Features:
-Entire footage of Game being wrongfully arrested and brutalized by the Police in North Carolina
-The Blair Snitch Project (Searching in 50’s Woods in CT)

The Game Interview Pt. 1

The Game Interview Pt.2

From MTV News:

50 thinks the president is "incredible … a gangsta." "I wanna meet George Bush, just shake his hand and tell him how much of me I see in him," 50 told GQ. If the rapper’s felony conviction didn’t prevent him from voting, 50 said he would have voted for Bush.

From Rapdirt.com

Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday night, "In an interview in GQ, rap artist 50 Cent says he is a big fan of President Bush…this increases President Bush’s approval rating among African Americans to one."

Happy Black Friday

Friday, November 25th, 2005

Black Friday. People have no damn sense nowadays, I swear. Big business amps everybody up for today like it’s the Super Bowl or something, and everybody runs out like idiots ready to kill each other over a shitty AIWA DVD player. Wake up people, go boosting instead.

Man fights with Security Guards at Orlando Wal-Mart (video)

The man started arguing with people inside the store, then fought with the guards.

One man told reporters that the laptops were being thrown into the air and people rushed toward them, collapsing on each other. Another man described the scene as crazy.

B.I.G. featuring The Game – 1970 Something

XXL article on the making of Ready to Die.

This month’s issue of Trace Magazine feaures exclusive, never before seen pics from the night B.I.G. celebrated Ready To Die going platinum.

Bonus: The Party and Bullshit video – Features X-Clan, Puff, and Kim and Cease looking about 16 years old. Biggie himself doesn’t look a day over 17. (For some reason the Still Tippin’ video is at the end of the clip. Whatever.)

Busta Cuts His Dreads

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

Wow, after 15 years Busta cuts off his dreads and gets a ceasar. I remember the Scenario video when they were like an inch long.

Peep the video and pics. (via SpineMag)

2 New Eminem Joints

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

These are the other 2 new Em songs from his upcoming Curtain Call album. Although the beats on both of these are decent, I’m not at all impressed like I was with ‘When I’m Gone’. ‘FACK’ is 3 1/2 minutes about busting a nut, and ‘Shake That’ is more of a club type joint featuring Nate Dogg. I know its the teenage white kids who made him the top selling rapper ever, but damn I wish this kid would use his flow for the good of Hip Hop and leave this pop/shock rap alone once and for all.

Shake That

Stray Shots

Green Lantern signs with the Russell Simmons Music Group. I’m sure he’ll fit right in with all the big name artists over there such as Rev Run and Black Buddafly(?!?).

Who will be the next dead rapper?

50 Cent says violent video games are good for kids!? What’s next 50, smoking is good for your lungs?

Has Dre dopped Game from Aftermath?

All sorts of fuckery going on in the Murder Inc. trial. I gotta say, SOHH has been on their game with their coverage. You’re probably wondering why I haven’t been covering it, but don’t worry I should have a special feature up in a few days.

Damn they’re really trying to kick Kim while she’s down. Now they’re trying to blame her for a shooting that she wasn’t even at and had nothing to do with.

And finally a quote from Nas: “To Jay-Z’s credit, I respect him lyrically. And to 50’s credit, I respect him lyrically, but not on a level of Jay. 50 will never be on a level of Jay so it’s kind of a shift for me to switch up and do something comical, even though to MC is to have fun."

Cuban Link signs to G-Unit?

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005

This site is reporting that Cuban Link, former Terror Squad member and nemesis of Fat Joe has signed to G-Unit. Didn’t see that one coming. The funny thing is I never heard of this site in my life and they’re the only ones reporting it. Oh wait, maybe its ‘cuz nobody cares.

DJ Premier is working on the next Nas album.  As you know the two are gracing this month’s issue of Scratch Magazine.  Well, Spinemagazine was nice enough to post up scans of the whole interview for our reading pleasure, and in the article Premier goes on and on about how happy he is to be working with Nas. Let’s just hope Nas doesn’t screw this album up like he did Street’s Disciple, ‘cuz no amount of Premier beats can help that guy once he gets into mediocre rhyme mode.
