There may be a new wave of rappers taking over the game, but don’t sleep—your favorite MCs from the ’90s are still out here spitting some shit. 2013 saw quite a few pairings of legendary dudes hopping on songs with artists representing the next generation, and vice versa. And in some cases, the old heads kept it in-house, proving they can still bang under the boards with the best in the game without the support of any younger cats. Here are 13 Joints Featuring ’90s Legends that dropped in 2013, courtesy of NahRight and UpNorthTrips.

1. Action Bronson ft. LL Cool J and Lloyd Banks “Strictly For My Jeeps (Remix)” – Bam Bam recruits a couple Queens mic monsters for the remix to his Saaab Stories single.

2. A$AP Mob ft. A$AP Ant and Method Man “Trillmatic” – A$AP Ant and Meth flaunt their funky swag.

3. Big Noyd, Large Professor, and Kool G Rap “Naturally Born” – Three the hard way.

4. De La Soul ft. The Spirit of The Wu “Get Away” – The Strong Island trio channels some Staten Island energy by sampling the intro to Wu-Tang Forever.

5. Fat Joe ft. Action Bronson “Your Honor” – Joey Crack links up with Bam Bam over a hard body DJ Premier production.

6. J. Cole ft. Nas “Let Nas Down (Remix)” – You made Nas proud, J. Cole, and this remix is proof.

7. Kendrick Lamar ft. Jay Z “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe (Remix)” – Arguably Hov’s dopest feature of the year, and we loved how Kendrick’s TDE crew surprised him with the verse.

8. Marco Polo ft. Organized Konfusion “3-O-Clock” – Pharoahe and Prince Po go in on this cut from Marco Polo’s latest compilation album, PA2: The Director’s Cut. Read about the making of the album here.

9. P.A.P.I. ft. Large Professor “Built Pyramids” – P.A.P.I. aka N.O.R.E. gets laced with his first ever Large Pro-production, and gets an assist on the hook, too.

10. Roc Marciano ft. A.G. “Soul Music” – D.I.T.C. vet A.G. jumps on this Roc Marciano-produced gem off his compilation album Marci Beaucoup. Read about the making of the album here.

11. Statik Selektah ft. Raekwon, Joey Bada$$, and Black Thought “Bird’s Eye View” – Yo Statik, you’re crazy for this one. Sick lineup of MCs right here.

12. Tony Touch ft. Action Bronson & Kool G Rap “A Queens Thing” – Tony Touch told us the story behind this pairing during our Mixtape Memories interview with him.

13. True Master ft. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah “Batman and Robin” – Ghost and Rae prove they’re still one of the illest duos in the game over this dope True Master track.
