It’s amazing that it’s been two decades since some of our rap favorite albums of all-time were released. Classics like Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders, and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle all turned 20 this year. We helped celebrate along the way with our Top 20 Rap Videos of 1993 list, a collection of Black Moon Enta Da Stage videos, and we also took a look at the making of Del the Funky Homosapien’s No Need For Alarm with Del himself. So we figured, why not pay tribute to some more classic releases from ’93 with a 13 for 13 list of 13 Essential Rap Albums That Celebrated Their 20th Anniversary This Year.
